Recreation Park 18 Golf Course

I visited this golf course for the first time in a long while because of a Saturday tournament. The overall facilities are very well maintained, and the course management was impressive. Thanks to the recent rainfall, the course conditions were excellent. Throughout the round, play moved smoothly without delays, which made the experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. The front nine felt relatively short and forgiving, but the course becomes noticeably longer as you progress. My husband and I chose Recrestion Park for our wedding venue in September 2024 and we were so happy with the whole experience! Tawnya was very easy to work with and we felt very comfortable with her the whole time she also responded to emails in a timely manner and answered all of our questions. We loved doing the tasting night as well! We got married inside and it really felt like a little old church it was too cute! And our reception was outside it was all very beautiful. A stunning place to plan your special event. Plenty of parking, gorgeous golf course, outdoor ceremony, space, in-house tables, chairs, and catering, amazing staff. We love being a vendor here. One of our favorite spots.

Big rec was a hidden gem for us and we had a Great time. I had my best round this year, the weather was nice and the course was in good shape. Place of play was a little slow, but tolerable. Watch out for the squirrels, they're smarter here!!

Tawnya and Spencer were amazing with the whole process!! Spencer was very responsive to our concerns and Tawnya helped us in every step of the way in making our wedding a wonderful night. Mayra and her team were also so helpful and great, the food was delicious!! If we could do it all over again, we would definitely go with Rec Park not only because of its beauty, but because of its amazing planning team!!! We love you!!!

This place is beyond WONDERFUL but the ppl working here are the ones who make it absolutely AMAZING!! My husband and I just had our wedding reception here this past weekend and when I tell you Mayra & Ryan were beyond helpful is definitely an understatement!! Both of them were absolutely INCREDIBLE!! Be careful with your clubs if you play here. My bag was stolen 12/2025 out of my car. Reading Reddit, there was at least another bag theft there earlier in the month. Total bummer!!! Seems like a string of thefts recently.

Working with Tawnya (and Spencer) at Recreation 18 was such a wonderful experience. After viewing the venue for the first time and meeting with Tawnya, we knew this was the venue we wanted to use to celebrate our special day. The venue is incredible and so beautiful and had every amenity we needed and wanted. Tawnya was so easy to work with, incredibly communicative, very accommodating and helpful, had great ideas and assisted with additional decor as well. Big Rec is a really nice course. The fairways are huge and very forgiving. The greens are very fast, but they are all in great condition. The tee boxes can be better, but they're not horrible. The course overall is in great condition and very fun to play. The driving range is small, as in not enough spaces/mats, and is always packed. The range itself is good and it has easily seen distance signs. All the employees I had contact with were excellent.
