About Landman Golf Club

Landman Golf Club, known as 'The Farmer’s Golf Club', offers a unique golfing experience with its raw, natural, and tumbling landscape reminiscent of the Sand Hills or a links course in Ireland. The course provides stunning views, especially from the twelfth tees, where golfers can see multiple holes and the beautifully carved bunkers. The club...

In summary

Landman Golf Club is widely praised for its unique and challenging course layout, featuring large, undulating greens and scenic views that create a memorable golfing experience. The staff receives high marks for their friendliness and helpfulness, and the amenities, such as the walk-up song option and food offerings, add to the overall enjoyment. While the course is generally well-received, some visitors mention minor critiques, such as the limited range balls and the desire for more locally-sourced food options.

An excellent experience. Highly recommend if you can snag a tee time. Course flows naturally through the property with wide fairways and large greens. Recommend you splurge on the yardage book which really helped with carry distances.

I sat through a three hour rain delay and was forced to walk the course afterwards and yet, my day at Landmand was incredible. This course is beautiful, the staff is amazing, and everything about it is First Class. Yes, a tee time is difficult to garner, but I truly believe this should be a course you add to your "Must" list. What a hidden gem!

Have you ever stepped foot on a place and just new it was different by the feeling you get? Welcome UP TOP to Landmand. Landmand is special in a way that can only be experienced not described with words. The staff, the layout, the location, the views, but somehow yet it's still deeper. If you want to experience a unique, fun and deeply satisfying round of golf, the you need to make the trek to Homer and get Up Top. You wont regret it.

"The hills are alive with the sound of golf..." If anyone knows that old song that I just ripped off... then at least you can appreciate the reference. If you love golf, when you are moving through the hills of Landmand...you just might want to break out in song....it's that inspiring....AND....that different. I've played several other sand hills courses...but NOTHING...and I mean NOTHING....has the land movement of Landmand. It is absolutely unique, and exhilarating. It's fun. It's quirky. But it's still very good and challenging golf. You will NEVER forget a round at Landmand...that's a pro…

Landmand blew away my expectations. This place is like a "kid in a candy shop" feeling for golfers. The imagination and shot shaping required here is like nothing I've ever experienced and I've played golf all over the country (college and mini tours). The staff was awesome and very accommodating. The walk up song off #1 tee was such a vibe and the margaritas at the clubhouse are top notch, made fresh. We also stayed in the cabins and brought a flat top griddle grill and made steaks and smores at night. Truly unbelievable trip and can't wait to go back.

This course is incredible. Was fortunate to snag a tee time from the cancel list. So unique in so many ways. Worth the wait and price for green fees.

A truly unique experience and challenging but fair golf course, that sends the player the feeling of playing in the clouds. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food truck had awesome options. Each hole seems to have half a dozen ways to play it, mixing risk/reward shot selections for the player depending on the conditions and how you are striking the ball. In my first trip there we played two rounds and very few holes were played the same on the second loop as the first round. It is the first course I have played that wind direction changes the handicap holes! I can't wait to play there…

Fortunate to get tee time, they had a cancellation. Great course with wonderful scenic views of region, who says Nebraska is flat. 2-3 club wind the day I played, was challenging but fair, wide fairways, huge greens with lots of undulation. Course in great shape. They space tee times at 15 minute intervals, which made round more enjoyable. I would love to play again if I get the opportunity.

What can be said about Landmand Golf Club that hasn't already been said? The place is incredible and on a scale of nothing I've played before. The course feels like it's been there forever; I suppose in a sense, it has been. You can watch all the YouTube videos and Instagram videos you want. Read as many tips and play thrus as you can find. None of it quote captures the raw essence of Landmand. This afternoon was as picture perfect as it gets here. Hardly any wind and when it was felt, it w as only on our face on 2 holes it seemed. Unfortunately for us, one of those holes was the 215y par 3…

I got the pleasure of playing this yesterday and this place is phenomenal... The land that was transformed here is really special. You could blindfold someone and take them to the first tee and they probably wouldn’t guess they’re on the edge of Nebraska and only 20 mins from Sioux City. The size of the greens and the sloping made for some unwanted 3 putts, but it made for challenging golf and proper approach shots were needed in order to capitalize. The tee shot on 17 was my favorite. The size of the green was crazy to look at! It’s a course everyone needs to play. I’ll be back in the near fu…

Awesome course! Great service! From the moment you pull in the parking lot, to the walk up music on the first tee, the tasty food from the Farmers food truck, staff in the pro shop and hospitality from the Starter’s, Max and Martha! It was a memorable experience. The greens are enormous and undulating, the fairways are enormous but require strategy for good approaches to the green, a lot of fun. The views and vistas are breathtaking. I haven’t had an opportunity to play many, if any, of the top 100 courses in the Us but no doubt Landmand belongs there. Can’t wait to go back again!

Fantastic experience, friendly fairways if you play from the correct tees. You get a small bag of range balls so don't expect to hammer balls prior to your round. It's an unmarked entry lane, be sure to follow the coordinates on the website and not Google maps. Will be back for sure.
