I'm in the same boat as Rodger...having been from Sarnia ON, but living in Gaylord for 15 years...we've passed this course sooo many times heading back to visit family and its always looked great. Its always intrigued us; so yesterday being Mothers Day we stopped in on our way back to Sarnia from a weekend up in Northern Michigan to play it finally. The entire experience was awesome! I've been a golfing enthusiast ⛳️ for over my half my life and Lapeer has exceeded my standards from every aspect. Not only are the greens in great condition, but they are playable for amateur to pro players. Food and bar service is great. The owners and staff are unbelievably nice and helpful. I'd recommend to everyone.

One of the best wedding venues I've worked at this year! Staff is super friendly and easy to work with. Looking forward to working here again in the future!

Fantastic golf course for the price! Very short and tricky but well maintained and in good condition. Greens were slower but we’re great for hitting into and chipping around. Staff was great and I had a great round as well!

I was there for a memorial. The staff were very caring and served us a very yummy meal. The building is massive and had a sophisticated feeling in the air. I really loved seeing the actual Lake Nepessing, I thought it was only a road before! I saw it in all it's glory through the huge dining room windows. I hope to return one day on a less sad occasion.

Great customer service and different services. My cousin had her wedding here and had a great experience. They offer a wedding planner and caters to her clients with Amazing service.

Nice course, Friendly staff. Fun to play. Green to tees are very close. Some challenging Par 3 with 220 yard. Overall it’s a great pleasure.

I'm so glad my husband and I chose Lapeer Country Club for our wedding! The venue coordinator, Jasmine, was absolutely amazing to work with. She was so kind and helpful with all the planning, if I missed a detail she caught it and that really helped our day seamlessly. The staff was on top of every detail and had anything we needed ready within minutes. They even made us plates of food up at the end of the night when we left knowing we would get hungry and boy did those hit the spot! Fun course. Not long, but challenging. Greens were fast, course was in good condition. All the staff we encountered are friendly and attentive.

Played front 9 for the first time. Well-maintained fairways. Tee-boxes are strange. Bumpy. Several fun risk-reward shorter par 4s. Bunkers need new sand. More like sandbox sand. Greens were fast but they would benefit by having someone repair ball marks each night because a lot of ignorant golfers have not learned golf etiquette. Can't speak to the facilities but it sure looks nice with a huge deck overlooking Lake Neppessing. More like 4.5 stars.
