In summary

Lebanon Valley Golf Course is appreciated for its unique layout, affordability, and generally well-maintained greens and fairways, especially considering its price point. The course offers interesting elevation changes and some recent improvements to cart paths. However, several visitors have expressed concerns about slow pace of play and inconsistent course maintenance, particularly regarding the condition of cart paths and fairways during certain times of the year.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Played in the Big Cup Classic at Lebanon Valley, and we had an absolute blast! The event was incredibly well-run — everything flowed smoothly from check-in to the last putt. The staff was friendly and welcoming, creating a great atmosphere for the whole day. And the greens… WOW. Tremendous. Fast, true, and in amazing shape — some of the best I’ve played in the area. Can’t wait to come back next year!

This course has been severely neglected. The grass is so overgrown that finding your ball is nearly impossible, even when you know exactly where it landed. The cart paths are in terrible condition—PennDOT could have done a better job maintaining them. The green on Hole #4 is especially disappointing. It feels more like plastic turf than a putting surface, and the ball barely rolls properly, making it almost unplayable. It's a real shame because the course layout is unique and has a lot of potential. With proper maintenance and care, this could be a very enjoyable place to play.

This is a garbage course from the awful customer service to the course conditions. Shame because it is a nice layout but no one is taking care of it. Pace of play is awful. Expect a five hour+ round

Compared to other local courses and the price. This course is way better!!! (W/ a Kart) walk with caution 😂 (steep hills) 1. It's just fun to play 2. Well kept 3.Pro shop is stocked 4.The workers are present 5. Even the golf cart path is fun 6. A reminder with phone number at hole 8 to call in a food order for the turn 🙌🏽 For the price especially the afternoon price I recommend a round here. I don't recommend however taking the immature friend here or the wild kart driver, it's a hilly course that can be dangerous! But any course that after 18 you wanna play 18 more is a great course !

I’ve never seen such a backed up course. If you can’t manage pace, don’t have 8 minute apart tee times. 4 different groups waiting on the same hole. Pay the extra couple dollars and go to a proper course that doesn’t try to cash grab by jamming tee times and doesn’t care about the miserability of players.

Played with someone who knew the course and that made a difference. A few small creeks running through not visible from the tee so local knowledge helpful. VERY short course. Got on all par 5s in 2 hits and never had more than 8 into par 4s---from white tees (I often play senior tees). Simple club house but VERY pleasant treatment from desk worker. No hassle about Groupgolfer and let me get started 30 min before tee time. Carts OK for old cheap course, Paths practically non existent which concerns me: that's sometimes a sign a course isn't putting any $$$ into maintenance and may close. VERY h…

I play this course a lot and it’s not bad for the price. Most of the fairways and greens are in good condition. My only complaint is the pace of play. The last few time I played here there were multiple holes where I waited 15-20 minutes to tee off.

My son and I had a nice evening considering the very affordable rates. However the course was in very poor condition, both fairways and greens. With the heat this summer I know it’s a challenge to maintain, but I’m familiar with other local courses which don’t show nearly the level of damage as this. Additionally, some much needed infrastructure repair is needed on paths and bridges etc. Play there for the affordable option and unique elevation changes, but not for the setup or conditions.

Shorter course. Nice fairways. Slower greens. Fairly wide open. Definately a course you expect to shoot well. Good layout though pretty straightforward. Several significant elevation changes. Usually a pretty good pace. Wife and I enjoy this course a few times every year. Will continue to do so.

Lebanon Valley is consistently well kept. Have replaced some cart paths with new concrete. Greens were receptive with some deceptive breaks. Be aware of greens that run away from the cup and, as always, some putts are scary if above the cup. Hot weather has some fairways less green than a couple of months ago. Take your GPS or ranger finder because I found the scorecard yardage exaggerated on all holes except the par 3s. Carts are good as are the green fees. Not the most demanding of courses, but don't hesitate to play.

Would leave a 0 star if we could. Will never come back here again. Overall a terrible experience. Booked the second tee time and at about the 6th hole, the course employee who checked us in approached us, telling us that we can’t golf out of the same bag (all had our own clubs) and we’re holding up the people behind us. The group behind us was at least 2 holes behind us, never close to us and we were waiting directly behind the group in front of us. When we said we were waiting on the group in front of us he insisted we need to tell them to hurry up. He threatened to kick us off the course if…

I played my 2nd round here friday 5/2/25. Its a nice course and enjoyed playing again. Some of the cart path spots are rough but some areas have been fixed with new cement. The bridge to the 14th hole has been fixed up with it looked like new wood and felt and looked much nicer. Not a flat course, plenty of elevation variations hole to hole. My only real complaint from both rounds is the bunch up and waiting to tee off. Both times here on multiple occasions would get to a tee off spot and have a group and sometimes 2 groups infront of us and then it felt the entire time you were rushing to fin…
