In summary

Royal Oaks Golf Club is generally well-regarded for its well-maintained greens and challenging layout, which includes a mix of water hazards and strategic holes. The staff is noted for their friendliness, and the course offers a good value for its price, though some find it slightly higher compared to other local options. Common criticisms include inconsistent sand trap conditions, occasional slow pace of play due to tightly scheduled tee times, and a lack of amenities such as ball washers.

The club isn't bad overall, but there are some obvious obstacles...some literally. The environment is good. With the range, updated carts and an affordable price, I was happy. The cart paths in some areas are just bad. You're almost better off not using them. They've also pulled out many of their bunkers. I'd caution calling them and traps as the ones that are left have large rocks in many... but they're still to be played as sand traps. This leaves some approaches very rough as grass is growing in to the old traps and the current ones generally aren't playable if you value your clubs. Thi…

Was in the area. Had the opportunity to play this course, it was nice for the cost of green fees. Definitely not going to complain. I would've given 5 stars but the 5 min increments between tee times is ridiculous. We literally waited on every tee box. About a 4.5 hr round.

I golfed this course on Friday October 3, 2025 and it is in great shape. First time playing this course and it was very challenging, especially the back nine. You will not be dissappointed if you play here.

The charge fee is ridiculous how come online it says 39.99. But as soon as I go into the shop they wanted 49.99. Im sorry but thats horrible. Overall the course isnt that impressive to be charged that much in the first place. Never booking at Royal Oaks ever.. Sorry not Sorry...

The course is in great shape. Greens are wicked fast but if u love them fast you'll be happy. Keep the ball in the short grass. If u hit into the rough u might not find it amidst the leaves and 4 inch grass

Friendly staff. Course is challenging but not too difficult. Greens are in good shape. Ample risk/reward shots throughout.

First time playing this trax... It's tough to give a fair evaluation just coming out of winter... Nice lay out a couple of greens are in need of repair. Friendly staff. Will play another round in spring to see how the fairways greens are groomed

Used to be one of my favorite courses. Lately prices are ridiculous. $30+ for a 6 pack, $30 for 9 holes after 4, when a full 18 is $39. Place is becoming a joke

Nice course layout and the greens and fairways are well taken care of. A bit on the pricey side compared to some other courses around, but it is a great course.

Zero professionalism. Let a kids camp go out ahead of our tee time causing 25 minute backup. I’m all for kids learning the game, but you have to have the courtesy to let the groups behind them know that when booking the tee time or at least when paying. Must be hurting for money on their bush league course if they can’t communicate that they are going to ruin your round before teeing off. Update: An employee came out and spoke with us, it was an unfortunate situation where the group took longer than expected. They offered to make it right which they did, and really didn’t have to given the na…
