The venue is also noted for its excellent amenities, including a top-notch restaurant and bar. Came here for the first time for a charity tournament and it was a wonderful experience. Beautiful course, friendly staff, and felt like a private club but open to the public!! Can’t believe this gem of a course is hiding in our backyard. I’m hesitant to leave this review in case it gets booked out completely like every other course in within 30 mins of me. But I also want to support well run locally run businesses!

Today was my 53rd birthday. When I called to make the tee time I asked if me and my buddies spouses could drive our carts as we play against each other every year on our birthdays. Not only were they ok with our annual birthday battle. The entire staff made my birthday a phenomenal day. On top of that, this is one of the most beautiful courses around and very well kept. It might feel like a bit of a drive to get out there. But the resteraunt is top notch. The course is beautiful, and dialed. And the staff are some of the best people you could want to be around. Honestly, this was one of the…

Lewis River golf course is by far the nicest course in Clark and Cowlitz county. Not only is it beautiful but the staff and food are amazing! I’ve been playing for 45 years and will always come back.

I have been playing Lewis River for about 6 years when I travel to the PNW from Alabama. I play it about twice a year. The course has seen tremendous improvement during this time! I look forward to my next trip out here!

BEST Wedding Venue! We just got married here and the website photos doesn't do this location by the river justice! Beautiful setting and the STAFF and service here is incredible! It was so easy to plan this wedding. We had a ton of people with food allergies that they accommodated. All menu items had ingredients labeled. Michelle on their team was with us from 11 am in the morning until we were done at 11pm. She was so easy to work with, accommodating. General Manager also was present along with the chef. It was carefree, beautiful, expertly orchestrated and fun! Our hair stylist, photographer…

This was a tough one to rate for me. I loved the course design and the actual layout a lot. Cool use of water and some fun pin locations. Unfortunately the course condition made it tough to enjoy that layout. The greens were like playing on a sandbox and the fairways were just dirt in certain areas. You shouldn't have to hit off rock hard dirt when you drive the center of a fairway. Maybe it's normally better and I went during a bad season, but that was our experience. (Still a gorgeous area)

Update 8/28/21: The course has gotten worse. Carts are in horrible shape and far and few between even if they are working. It's a rough day of golf when there isn't much grass. Course will need to improve before I come back as the price doesn't warrant the quality. 3/2021: Course price was great and the staff was friendly. Only problems I had was their driving range wasn't will maintained, you can only hit irons and there was no marshall on the course on a busy Saturday to keep the pace of play. We were over an hour late in starting and was on for close to 6 hours for 18.

I was invited to perform violin for wedding ceremony and cocktail hour at Lewis River Golf Course. It is very beautiful place to get married! I highly recommend it to all couples. The view is breathtaking and the stuff is very kind and friendly.🤍

Beautiful course on the north side of the Lewis River, just east of the 5 freeway. Nice 18 hole layout on beautiful fairways and greens. Adequate pro shop, nice locker rooms and a great restaurant and bar area. Other amenities inside. Carts available. The only downside that gave it a 4 instead of a 5 star rating was the driving range. No drivers or woods allowed, only can warm up with irons. Took the drive right out of driving range apparently.

I only ever leave five star reviews, but this was crazy. I played a nine hole with some friends and had field marshals patrolling us like wasps. In a nine hole game there were probably seven different times field marshalls came up to us and just pestered us told us don’t do this. Don’t do that. Don’t do this. Don’t do that. I’m a very optimistic guy, but this was crazy, so annoying. Could not enjoy the course that I paid a premium price for.

Walked 18 today for a tuesday 10:30 tee time 3some, walked off the course at 3:30.. pace of play definitely on the snail side. I think limiting to 3 or 4 tee times set between 8/830am - 11am would help a lot. The course was in 7/10 condition imo, not the worst nor best. A couple of par 3 tee boxes were beat up or swamped out, so had to take an iron off the mat a couple times. Greens could use a bit of watery love, but the fairways and rough cuts were solid. Bunkers a bit inconsistent, but hitable. (Side note, the 647 par5 is no joke. Absolute beast of a hole) For just shy of $50 for the roun…

Played here for the first time - wasn’t over the moon or anything. Course conditions were rough but has plenty of potential. Lots of unfixed ball marks (golfers) on greens and dead fairways/approaches. It is a fun course though and would go back for sure, friendly staff.
