In summary

St. Helens Golf Course is appreciated for its affordability, friendly staff, and relaxed atmosphere, with several visitors enjoying the scenic layout and the challenge it offers. However, some players have noted issues such as dry course conditions, lack of a driving range, and occasional management of pace of play that seemed unnecessary. The course's facilities are basic, and opinions on its overall maintenance vary, with some suggesting alternative courses in the area for a more polished experience.

4-29-2017 I asked the club house if the course was playable. He said yes and gladly took my $56 bucks. Turns out it was a lie. Not only was the course not playable it was not mowed, walk able and you had to skip hole. This dude lied to take my money don't waste your time take a look at the pics

After seeing some of the other reviews i didn't know what to expect. After playing a full round here, id say it was just fine, definitely enjoyed it. Not crowded, good parking, fun holes, good scenery, good greens, good price, sucks to see bad reviews of this place, and sucks that they are closing. I am going to keep playing here till they close. Hopefully this review will have some impact on getting more people to come play here and maybe have a chance of keeping this place open.

Pros: Cheap to play Plenty of parking Not busy at all Cons: Mostly dry course. Almost felt like I needed a mallet to hammer the tee into the ground at a couple of the holes. Rushed our play when not necessary No driving range Playing at this course makes it only the 5th time I've ever golfed. So this may or may not be a fair assessment of this course. If you are interested in reading a newbie's review, read on... So a buddy of mine had scored coupons from Living Social to play golf for 4 and invited me to play. 1 person had never hit a ball in his life, 2 folks hadn't played in over 20 year…

Absolutely no frills.....Think I would rather play gold in a corn field. Really!! this course should NOT cost anymore than a good miniature golf game. Think the club house used to be an old barn.

Not a bad 9 hole course to check out, nice staff and good prices and not too busy. not sure why the reviews are so bad for this challenging course

It's a good course. They sometimes have a coupon, which makes it worth to go. It's not very crowed.
