What People Say

In summary

Limekiln Golf Club is appreciated for its interesting 27-hole layout and generally well-maintained greens, making it a pleasant spot for a round of golf. Many find the course enjoyable and the staff friendly, with reasonable pricing for the experience offered. However, some visitors have noted issues with the condition of certain areas, such as fairways and tee boxes, and have experienced dissatisfaction with the pace of play and staff interactions. The club's impending closure has also been a point of disappointment for patrons.

The course is closing Dec 1, 2019 so get your last rounds in. Overall, the course is always just "ok" as the fairways are pretty beat up. The grass is sparse on most holes especially fairways in the shade. Tee boxes were decent though and surprisingly, many greens in excellent shape. A treat to putt on them. It doesn't get much plan Mon-Fri so you can usually walk on as a single or with a small group. The staff is jusy blah.

I really like this course. It was the first large course I ever played on. 27 holes - all interesting. No cheap but not terribly pricey either. I understand it has been sold. That is sad. You should play it before its gone.

10:00 foursome on the friday of memorial day weekend. The course was very pretty and well kept. The shop man was quite slow getting us started. It took 15 min just to ring my credit card. We had a slow start, by no means disruptive, but was hurried and badgered by the game attendant for 4 holes straight. Rather rude. The greens do not break much at all depsite the look of slopes; the roughs really eat up your ball, not going to get much of a roll. Went into the bar for a drink and bite after 9, was told that we can only take 7 mins for our turn. Again, hurried and badgered. Also was admonished…

Really nice course, and having 27 holes I don't have a problem going here multiple times because it can be like playing a different course. They have a driving range and a practice green.

If 0 stars was an option, I would choose that. Worst experience of my 20 year golf career. Was followed by a groundskeeping cutting the already dead short rough, including up to the green we were trying to putt at. Then on the back nine after we had already hit, a different groundskeeper watered the green for 20 minutes while we waited. Course is in terrible condition as well.

Cool that there's 3 9 hole courses but the place is a little run down. They need to sell 9 holes, fix up the clubhouse, and take better care of the remaining 18 holes.

It's a nice layout but 57 dollars to play it is highway robbery. Never will play here on the weekend unless it gets cart girls and other perks.

Nice course, greens were rolling well. Tee boxes could use a little TLC. Enjoyable day.

Excellent course for average player. I've been told that it may shut down in fall. Sad if true.
