In summary

Lindsay Golf & Country Club is praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and friendly staff, offering a pleasant golfing experience with a variety of holes and good amenities. The food at the restaurant receives positive remarks for quality and pricing, and the venue is appreciated for hosting events like weddings and brunches. However, some visitors express concerns about slow pace of play and the condition of golf carts, while others have mixed experiences with certain events and the golf simulator.

Really a neat and organized place. We went there after the lunch as we thought they might not let non members in or have food, but to our surprise they did and they have options for a different variety of foods to try. However as we were full, we just had iced tea and chips and salsa. The Chips was out of this world, they were handmade, fresh and delicious! Very friendly staff too!

Went for the golf simulator, it’s definitely no trackman but system works ok. Would probably be better if the staff had a little more training on how to use it. Think the screen might be too tight as well, as the golf balls go everywhere off of it and you’re constantly chasing the balls around the place. Wouldn’t pay more than the $25 a hour for same day booking that’s a fair price for what you get. PS you have to get this wing sauces on the menu haha there was like 3 other people than myself asking what they were I’m sure that gets annoying for the staff to have to repeat.

Very disappointing Mother’s Day brunch, $45 for bacon and eggs plus an automatic 18% tip when they weren’t even serving. After the first trip to the buffet the servers took your plate then only offered very small side plates after that. There was very little variety, honestly complete waste of money.

The golf course is absolutely fantastic. Very well maintained and very fun to play. The starter Larry was very helpful and friendly. I am looking forward to my next opportunity to play a round here. I also attended a wedding here and had a good experience, very nice venue.

On Sep 21 this security guard listened to my ex-wife: Posha's lies and the security trespassed me for 24 hours, I very glad that I had two devices recording this whole incident. I was unable to get my 5 mins of placing a picture in Larry's casket that was held on that day, and I was also unable to get my closure. I do not recommend this place. This security needs more training and does not know the laws (picture is attached).

For what it is and what it costs (good value in particular after 2pm), this really is a good course to play and nice challenge, primarily in terms of length. Have not played here in a couple years and went with my son. For reference he is a 12 hdcp and I am a 7. Greens, nice shape. Receptive and still able to roll relatively true albeit a touch slow which is not necessarily a bad thing at times. Clearly defined levels in most which is nice not to see just a bunch of flat pancakes. Fairways also in good shape. Like the greens they are not tightly nowed by any stretch of the imagination but sho…

Great Championship level course that will humble you and test your skill with fast greens. A couple long narrows fairways through the trees that punish any uncontrolled slices or too far of draws. I found myself in a few of their recently redone bunkers, but was excited to have a closer look and admire the maintenance, don't forget to rake!

Enjoyed my round at Lindsay GC. Lots of challenging holes, with water and sandtraps. I used my driver a ton (which I like). Staff was very friendly, grounds were maintained well and the food was okay afterwards. Maybe, just maybe they could sell some drinks/refreshments in the proshop. I drove from Durham Region and had a 7:50am tee off and didnt bring a water. Drink cart girl wasnt around untill 11:30am, felt pretty thirsty. Almost every club sells Gatorades in the proshop to throw in your bag and start off your round.

Course is alright, but tee times every 6 minutes means you're in for waiting on every tee block for 5 to 10 minutes. Cant get any flow going. Might as well put TVs in the carts. Everytime I've played here it takes 5hrs+, some holes will literally have 4 groups on it between the green and tee blocks.

Nice course with consistent greens on the front. Greens on back had been punched recently but still rolled decently. All that said, the ranger told us after the 5th hole we were behind pace but the group ahead of us had just hit second shots as we were on the tee and there was no one behind us waiting (at least a full hole behind). We finished the entire round on a Sunday mid-day round of a long weekend in around 3:30 and we were slow? The group we played with (didn’t know them) started to rush as a result of this message causing a little stress on their part. Didn’t appreciate being told to s…

Played a round at Lindsay Golf and Country Club for the first time on Sep 14th. Firstly, all the staff that I had interactions with were fantastic. The food at the restaurant is amazing and priced very well in my opinion. The golf course has a very nice layout. Holes have some interesting looks, and you definitely get rewarded with accuracy. Fairways were in mint condition, and the greens were very soft (i actually plugged a few times on approach shots). The course has is walking friendly. Pace of play was good (4hrs 28 mins), we were not in a rush so we weren't pushing anyone nor getting for…
