A Hidden Gem in Ontario – Wolf Run Golf Course is a Must-Play! I had the pleasure of playing at Wolf Run Golf Course recently, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The staff were genuinely welcoming and helpful — the kind of friendly service that instantly makes you feel at home. A special shoutout to the Golf Pro, who offered thoughtful, skillful feedback on my swing that actually made a noticeable difference over the round. It’s rare to find instruction that’s both knowledgeable and encouraging, but that’s exactly what you get here. The course itself is beautifully m…

I played Wolf Run at the end of September, enjoying the beautiful fall weather. Trip from Toronto was actually a little shorter than expected. The golf course is in amazing shape.. fairways are exceptionally green and well maintained. The greens are relatively fast and in good shape for this time of year... #2 was being rebuilt in a new location. The course itself is scenic and extremely fair. It has length for the long hitters (one hole is just over 600 yards off the black tees) and a mix of elevations. Lots of majestic trees makes it a pleasure to play in the fall with the colours changing.…

We did a stay and play and we loved the entire experience! The course was enjoyable. Greens were in good shape and overall it was a pretty good course offering a variety of challenge. The staff were all really helpful and pleasant. The food was pretty good! The Caesar salad was too spicy for some of our group. The sweet potatoe fries were a hit.

Played here Aug 24th and I should have read the reviews. This isn't the course I remember. Immaculate fast greens are replaced with substandard medium greens that are mostly dirt and pock marked. The tees were dome shaped and hard to find a level spot to tee off from. The fact they charged 84$ is a crime in itself. Take your hard earned money and go somewhere else. I don't know if they changed owners or grrenspeople but they need a shake up quick.

Had a fantastic experience here! The service was excellent, staff were friendly, professional, and made everything seamless. The course itself was in beautiful condition, with well-kept greens and fairways that made every round enjoyable. Amenities were top quality as well, from the rentals to the carts, which were clean and comfortable. Definitely one of the best golfing experiences I’ve had. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great day on the course!

My golf group did a stay and play. The course was in great shape considering how hot and windy the summer has been. With the weather we have had, you can't expect the tee decks and rough to be pristine on most courses. The course is challenging from the white tees with a good mix of long holes, and holes requiring precise drives. The staff including the back shop, maintenance, and marshalls were some of the nicest and most helpful staff out of any course I have played. The accommodations for the stay and play were incredible, and doing a stay and play is highly recommended.

This review is for the Wolf Run Golf Club restaurant patio. Patio has a great view of the course, service is friendly, food is pretty good. We tried the pizza, wings and jalapeño poppers. Not a fan of the pizza, but everything else was very good. The menu also offers various sandwiches, fish n chips and burgers (the burgers are great!!). Great place to go after a round of golf. Sit back, relax, have a drink, enjoy the view and some wings!

Don't understand how this is a cashless business, covid has been long gone just laziness on the owners part. Won't be returning. I will not be supporting this business going forward. Absolutely ridiculous when a club like Deer Creek can accept cash but some middle of no where club would rather pass thier fees onto thier customer instead of doing a little math. The course conditions were absolutely disgusting. The fairways were in great shape but other than that everything else was gross. Sand traps filled with weeds, almost every putting green has some sort of disease making them almost unpla…

We are a recently retired couple that live in the Kawarthas and were very interested to get back into golf for recreation. We contacted Wolfrun and engaged with Josh Growden the local CPGA pro at the club. Josh suggested a 3 lesson package and took us through a program to meet our goals of swing redevelopment and better ball contact. Throughout the process Josh broke down the lessons so that we could take away what we learned to apply it as we golfed at our local course. We also appreciated Josh’s flexibility to deal with our busy schedules in rescheduling where needed. We look forward to…

Amazing layout but the course maintenance is just god awful. Also they have no concept of what's going on out there. Judging on the group in front of us you can pair up as many people as you'd like. Definitely won't be going back. Waste of time and money. Would love to see this course strive under new management.

Haven’t played the course in 3 years because the greens were awful. Came back this year still awful, it’s like putting off asphalt. Get a new groundskeeper please.

If you enjoy golfing then find another course. This is the worst condition 18 hole course you can play in kawartha. And for the price they charge, you can play a much nicer course within 10-15 minutes away, leave this one for the hackers/120+ players, Greens: poor condition at best with patch marks everywhere, small greens, and all need re-surfacing not just hole 2(temp green on hole 2 is the fairway with an oversized cup, just give yourself a par and don't waste your time.) Tees: poor condition every hole and not one is flat Range: I've never been confused at a driving range but this one a…
