Lodge at Ventana Canyon

Excellent resort for tennis enthusiasts. We were there in Nov 2024 and weather was perfect. Great staff and tennis coach and players. The rooms we stayed are very nice with comfortable beds. Food is delicious in the restaurant. Overall a great place for Tennis vacation.

It’s a golf resort - so you’re pretty much surrounded by old timers. The food is surprisingly high quality and the setting is beautiful. They have a free shuttle to Sabino Canyon, where you can take another quick shuttle to the seven falls trailhead - highly recommended.

We loved our stay here, just wish we had more nights! We did a little one night get away and loved the resort but the service was incredible! The lobby staff and pro shop staff were phenomenal, we had a great stay and will definitely be back. We loved the mountain golf course as well, the course was in great condition. Would definitely recommend!

Great quiet old school country club with all the amenities. Service was amazing everywhere we went. Food for every meal is outstanding. And the course was in great shape. Fairways were plush, greens were fast and the views are unbelievable. Highly recommended.

The Ventana Canyon Club and Lodge is an incredible place with an amazing staff. In other words, it has everything that you would come to expect from a 5-star club and resort, but it is a quaint little lodge tucked away in the Santa Catalina Mountains. The staff was wonderful - everyone from Jaime the Front Desk Manager, to Stephanie, Liz (Lizette) and Grace up front, to Laurie and Ryan in the Club Dining Room. Went only to the dining room, as a part of a catered business function. The food seemed to be stamped out- as one would expect catered food to be, but would also expect Ventana to be a cut above. The dessert was the same that was served last year- with a stale boxed pie shell. The noise at the nearby bar was so loud that we could barely hear the speakers. I looked to see if there was a door we could close - no. Parking is limited for big groups.

Had a wonderful experience with Sonja, who gave an amazing facial and very easy to talk to and helped with some areas on my face. I also had an amazing massage with Gail. She’s great at what she does and so easy to chat with. My entire experience with the staff was wonderful. They truly have one of the best staffs for customer service. I’ll definitely be back!

It’s been awhile since my last opportunity to golf Ventana…had a wonderful experience on 9/27/2025. Only ever played Mountain course so it was a treat to play Canyon. Staff were super helpful and aimed to please! We also had a lovely lunch at the restaurant after our round. Thank you!

We recently had my mother's 90th birthday at the lodge. What a magical experience. Food was great. Staff was attentive. The banquet rooms were so pretty - fabulous views. Jeff made the entire process so easy. You don't need to be a member to take advantage! I highly recommend and will be back again. PS- we rented 4 rooms for out of town guests - they raved about the rooms and views and said how nice the staff was.

Ate dinner at the Lodge for a special birthday party. Food was excelent but our server Cody went above and beyond making it a very enjoyable evening.

During my stay, I got to enjoy an 80 minute facial with Sonja. It was definitely the highlight of my stay & one of the best facials I’ve ever had! Sonja was able to address my skin concerns, while still providing a relaxing & rejuvenating experience. I left feeling refreshed & with glowing skin! Sonja is so knowledgeable & highly experienced- I was definitely in good hands. Cant say enough good things about Sonja & my spa experience!
