In summary

Mace Meadow Golf & Country Club is frequently praised for its beautiful setting and scenic views of the golf course, along with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly service. The restaurant is noted for its generous breakfast portions and a varied menu, with some standout dishes like chicken fried steak and salmon. However, some visitors have raised concerns about inconsistent food quality, occasional billing issues, and the condition of the golf course, which some feel could be improved.

This is an awesome restaurant, pub, and sports bar. Their breakfasts are excellent and very generous sizes. A nice assortment of local craft beers on tap, as well as a full bar. A really great menu for breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and appetizers. And beautiful views of the Mace Meadows golf course below as well.

First things first. I'm adding to pics of my receipts. One shows when waitress dropped the bill & second one after running our card. As you can see somehow they added $2.58 without permission. I didnt feel like making a scene so I left a smaller tip. I went back next day to inform them and employee that day said it was a glitch in the system..she also stated the owner knows and won't fix it. She also stated she thought even if it was a CC charge they SHOULD inform customers..To me its a little criminal even if its only couple bucks..doubt anyone else notices..but we did..and we arnt cheapskate…

Don't waste the trip to pioneer. No, their course has not gotten any better, me and my party modified the rules so we can move our ball onto the nearest patch of grass so we aren't constantly on dirt or in a gopher hole. Most of the fairways look like someone's backyard lawn that was left ignored for years.

Nice little place. Has a dog named "smokey" that roams around and barks, but then 10 minutes later is sitting at your bar stool looking for snacks. The food service ends at 4pm (we visited on a weekend) and you can eat in the bar. A lot of places in the area close up or offer limited services after summer, so plan accordingly.

Amazing food. Great friendly service. Large dining area for groups and events. Full bar with a beautiful view of the golf course with seating area for family and kids. All your favorite sports and teams on multiple TV's. Highly recommend it for anything from a quick stop for great drinks to a large event.

Had breakfast with my wife, delicious food, awesome atmosphere. Pricing on food is amazing for how good it tastes. I'd recommend to eat on Sunday's, bottomless mimosas. 5 stars, but I'd give it 10.

Tonight we had the salmon that was cooked to perfection! Our server Yvette was so nice and we wanted for nothing. I love they serve fresh veggies and let me add the soup with the sundried tomatoes was a party in our mouths. All in all a great evening!

Tried to give this place a chance on many occasions but it has been a disappointment every time. We have tried lunch and dinner; everything from the steak dinners to their salads and sandwiches and nothing has been worth the money. Order chips and salsa and we paid over $8 for a small portion of dollar store Pace brand salsa and cheap chips, the pretzels are the pretzels you get from the freezer isle at the grocery store likely microwaved. We got the New York steak dinners, never given the warm rolls with butter as said on the menu, my steak and potatoes were very cold and my husband's were lu…

You see a nice restaurant, your wallet feels classic diner prices! Our breakfast was great! The French Toast is massive and delicious, and the Eggs Benedict was terrific! All at a great price!

Good food, outrageous prices, nice views. I've only been there for burgers to go, which are good, but $23 for 2 burgers and fries without drinks.... Not for me thanks. If they offered deals for locals I'd probably be there a couple of days a week, but I'm not paying tourist prices.
