In summary

Magic Valley Golf Course is appreciated for its friendly community, challenging layout, and well-maintained greens, making it a pleasant place to enjoy a round of golf. The course is described as fun and suitable for various skill levels, though it may not meet the expectations of low handicappers seeking a more pristine or private experience. Some visitors note the need to bring cash for greens fees when the pro shop is closed, but overall, the course is considered a great value and a welcoming environment.

Bring cash!!! We came around 1pm during early spring and the pro shop was closed. Thought we'd have to go home but we noticed signs that said to fill out an envelope, place greens and cart fees inside and insert it into a lockbox attached to the building. We then proceeded to have a great round of golf! It's not fancy, it's not pristine. It was relatively challenging for me, a 14 handicapper, with good distances but a relatively open course plan. This 9 hole course is fun to play. It has some elevation challenges for your short irons & putting, and some good par 4s & 5s where you can let the big dog eat. However, if you’re a big hitter but struggle with a slice or hook, the fairways are narrow if the course is busy! Don’t expect a championship golf course for this price but Magic Valley is fun to play and you can definitely work on all aspects of your game. I enjoyed my round, I will be back.
