Came down for yearly golf trip, everyone at the course was unbelievably friendly, hospitable, funny and made you feel at home. They cook a mean fried bologna sandwich. Even gracious enough to let us keep our clubs on carts every night to be ready for next day. See you next year guys!

This is a beautiful course. The Tennessee Golf Trail courses that are part of the State Park system are extremely well maintained. Greens are immaculate. Carved out of the forest, the fairways are all tree-lined. Many of the greens are protected by bunkers. This pushes the slope/rating above average / somewhat-difficult at 70.4/125 from the white tees. The iconic 4th hole drops down 150 or so yards to a green that sits by the shore of Kentucky Lake (the Tennessee River). Several other holes offer excellent water views. The course is quite hilly, as well. Renting a one of their nice, electric…

Really nice golf course. Well taken care of, friendly staff. Hit it straight because the fairways are narrow, but easy enough to find your ball if you don't hit to far off the fairways. Greens are really fast, some are fairly flat or just a light slope to them, a few undulate alot.

I went early one morning to play a game of golf. I was initially addressed with, “oh, what do you do?” Making me very uncomfortable. I am an athlete. I also have family that plays every week at the same course. My family is from Dover, TN and lots of my family have worked at the docks and Paris Landing. Let me tell you, if someone gives me the woman treatment at another golf course - I’d look to shut it down for disrespect. I understand being old and uneducated, but you have no right to disrespect me when I’ve paid for a game, to come and tell me I’m taking too long on the first hole while a…

When it comes to golf courses that are accessible to the public in Tennessee, the Tennessee State Parks have some of the most challenging and picturesque courses in the state. Jack Nicklaus helped put the State Parks on the map when he put together the Bear Trace. Nicklaus originally built 5 Bear Trace courses; three of them are still owned, operated, and maintained by Tennessee State Parks. However, as nice as the three Bear Trace courses are, the other six courses in the Tennessee Golf Trail are also excellent. One of these is Paris Landing. For the past 27 years, Golf Digest has awarded th…

Love playing this place every year we are here. Usually play at least 2 or 3 times in 1 weekend. That being said, $60 for 18 holes while the greens are in as terrible shape as they are is extremely disappointing. Please get the greens under control and in the meanwhile, discount the rates due to poorly maintained course. The state needs to do better than that.

I challenge you to find another golf course that has views and conditions for the price that Paris Landing does. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! Course was in great condition and the layout was awesome. One of my new favorite for sure. Highly highly recommend if you are in the area giving it a try. You will not be disappointed I guarantee

Played there Saturday 13th September 2025. The Fairways and the bunkers were hard as rocks. No sand in the bunkers, the greens were spotted from disease or poor maintenance. The carts paths were terrible. This could be one of tennessee most beautiful scenic courses if more care was given.

A really great course to be a state park. Greens was in great shape. Tough, but fair course. The fringe was in really great shape. I love details like that. Staff was great. Hate that it's about 2 hours from me, but will go back

Very nice course and clubhouse. This course is very well ran!. Pace of play was good. Beautiful scenery with views of Kentucky lake and delicious food served in snack bar area. Hats off to all the employees who work here. We felt very welcomed. Professionally ran course. They even gave us a good discount as the course had been plugged and aireated 2 weeks prior to our visit. That's something we dont normally get. Highly recommended this golf course.

Called 2 days prior to check on course conditions as I had a 2:15 drive and had read some bad reviews and didn’t want to waste my time. Asked the guy on the phone about the course. He said “we have a couple greens that have had some issues but the course is in great shape”. Let me tell you, they had maybe 2 greens that DIDNT actually have issues. Several bunkers had little to no sand and others had standing water. Tee boxes were moved on every hole for no apparent reason (I understand moving the par 3s tees but why par 4s?). On top of that, somehow a group of 5 snuck in front of us on the back…
