In summary

Magnolia Greens Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained and challenging 27-hole layout, friendly and attentive staff, and quality amenities, including a popular restaurant. The club’s scenic setting and convenient location near Wilmington are also appreciated. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the lack of course navigation aids and occasional issues with course conditions, particularly on the Adela nine. There are also isolated reports of customer service issues and slow pace of play.

I played as a non member 3 times during my vacation in March 2026. It’s a challenging course. Lots of sand. Nice staff. Good food in the restaurant. Well worth the money.

Had the pleasure of attending the United Way/GE Tournament this past week. The course was gorgeous. Clearly well maintained year round. The staff was fantastic. I will be considering a membership next season.

Shot in the dark after a Google search. Absolutely consider ourselves lucky for finding this place. Service was incredible. Absolutely amazing. We were a large group and they asked if we could be split as it was a slow night and staff wanted to make sure that everyone got tables (love how kind and considerate that is!). Specials were explained and the menu had something for everyone. If you like wings then this is must. They were delicious. Everything was delicious. Food came out quickly. Staff was attentive and accommodating. I can not say enough good things about this place. We were about 3…

GOLF STAFF IS INCOMPETENT ! Very nice challenging course. We played two of the three nine-hole courses. The greens were great, the fairways were good on one of them courses, the other one was a wet mess with tire treads. Pretty good value. However I cannot justify more then 3 stars for a few reasons. With the amount of sand, water, dog legs and blind shots you cannot possibly play this course for the first time without some kind of reference. There are no pictures of the holes on the tee signs, there are no yardage books and there is no GPS. Also, all flags are yellow. There is no way to deter…

Live in the Greenville area and wanted to meet up with a friend to play and luckily picked the right course to do so. Played all 27 holes and after 18 stopped in for a quick bite and Becca was our bartender and she was exceptional at her job. Whether you’re there to play, dine, or simply relax, this golf venue exceeds expectations. It’s not just a place to golf—it’s a destination where the game, the food, and the people come together to create something truly special. Highly recommended for anyone seeking the best in golf and hospitality.

So fun! I had such a great time spectating my dad and sister golfing and even hit a few golf balls myself! It’s lovely out there, really well-kept, and there’s a bar/restaurant there for all your food and beverage needs. Loved that they had canned and bottled beverages at-the-ready so we could take them to the range and enjoy. Great selection of bevs! The range is clearly well-kept and divets filled in often. There is a dress code - don’t wear denim! Can’t wait to go back.

In from Boston visiting family in Leland/Wilmington and wanted to get 9 in on a beautiful, Carolina-feeling course - this was it. Beautiful premises, really nice staff, well tailored links and great views. There was a mix up where the starter lost my tee time, but he did make it right and I had a nice time. Very nice rental clubs as well for travelers.

Matt is the man! Every time I stop by the golf shop at Magnolia Greens, he’s super helpful and always goes out of his way to take care of everyone. You can tell he genuinely cares and treats every customer like they’re a priority. Just a solid guy who makes the experience better every time. Appreciate you, Matt!

Whenever I’m having a bad day on the course I can always count on Taylor to brighten my day on the bar cart. Very friendly and professional! Jason had my cart ready and loaded my bag before I was out of the pro shop. Everyone in the pro shop was friendly and helpful. My new go to course. Food in blossoms is great

Challenging but fair 27-hole layout that is very walker friendly. Pro shop is very good and pro shop team is excellent. Only complaint is a bunch of entitled old white dude golfers who don’t rake bunkers or repair divots because “well someone else will do it”. It’s a shame because, otherwise … this is a jewel. Under new ownership and already seeing small signs of grounds and property improvements.
