In summary

Manderley On the Green is appreciated for its scenic setting, friendly and helpful staff, and well-maintained greens, with many golfers enjoying the 27-hole layout and the variety it offers. The course is noted for its continual improvements and a welcoming atmosphere, making it a popular choice for both casual and seasoned players. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the condition of the fairways, slow pace of play due to closely scheduled tee times, and occasional issues with golf carts and marshals.

Decent course. Don’t come here if you aren’t expecting a 5.5-6.5 hour round. With bookings every 8 minutes, every time I have come here there has been 3 foursomes on almost every hole in front of our group. Have had to leave after 10 holes every time because they overbook like crazy.

My hubby plays golf here and I started playing this year with him. The staff here is amazing, friendly, and very helpful. It’s been a dry summer yet the greens and the starts were lush and green. It’s a beautiful golf course surrounded and immersed in nature. We were just here for a “couples tournament”. And we had a magnificent times with our friends. The dinner and prizes were great. Oh! Let’s not forget the pro shop, they have everything you need if you forget something and then some. Treat yourself to some new golf gear!!! We will definitely keep coming to play golf here. ⛳️

Manderley's 27 hole golf course is perfect for a great round, whether you are playing 18 holes or 9, the course is an enjoyable walk or a comfortable ride should choose. Located 10 minutes South of Barrhaven with easy access from the 416 and lots of parking. Friendly staff both in the Clubhouse and on the course makes for the perfect golf day!

Such a great course! They have 3 nine holes and when playing 18, they always change the combination of 2 9 holes. Greens are very well maintained and you can see the work in upgrading the course each year. They are cleaning up the surrounding foliage which makes for pleasant views of each hole. They invested in new electric carts which are great. But the best thing about this course is the staff! They are always welcoming and helpful, and the players assistants and cart girls are great!! I love this course and rarely play anywhere else…except at their 2 sister courses (Tecumseh & Mont Cascade)…

Hickory golf challenge was awesome. Played with century old clubs on loan from historical golf society. These clubs reveal any flaws in your swing!

The fairway is in worst condition then my unmaintained backyard. I live next to this course, I enjoy being able to play so close by, but my gosh, why would anyone pay their price for this quality(pics uploaded). For the same price, there are other areas in Ottawa with exceptional quality courses. Their greens are well maintained, but what little water they have, only goes to their greens. There is no weed control either. It's not a golf course, it's a bunch of backyards with a green at the end. I don't mind playing here when i'm in a rush but wouldn't pay more than 20$ for 18 holes at this qua…

Manderley is charging $61 for a round of golf on some of the worst kept fairways, greens and tee boxes in Ottawa this season. You will not find a single patch of 10ft square grass on the fairway that does not contain several divots, bare soil, or ground under repair(unmarked of course). If you are on grass 50% chance it is on or next to a crab grass patch. Greens are just pocked with unrepaired pivots and dead patches of grass or dirt, expecially near the pin which is unacceptable. The tee boxes are on slopes or mounds. And the marshals gave me grief for their made up rule that you cannot push…

As someone who spends a lot of time at this course, I can't say enough about the continual improvements over the past few years - tee decks, greens, newly renovated on-course washrooms. Manderley is well-maintained and provides a great experience for players of all levels. What I like the most is that it is surrounded by nature, not houses, and the friendly vibe—both on the course and around the clubhouse. Located just a few minutes south of Barrhaven.

Had a great round at Manderly The course itself was in solid shape—greens rolled true, fairways were well-maintained, and pace of play was smooth for a weekday afternoon. But what really stood out was the kindness of a gentleman named Gabe who was out mowing near one of the fairways. He flagged me down with a smile and handed me a couple of balls he’d found while working—good ones, too! Just a small gesture, but it really made my day. You don’t always get that kind of friendliness out on the course. Big thanks to Gabe for the good vibes and helpful attitude. Little things like that go a long…

There is 3 nine holes at this golf club. Central/South/North. North is the easiest with South being the middle ground. The greens are very fast and the fairways could be maintain much better. Sometimes its hard to know if you are in the fairway or the rough, kinda look alike. The staff are super nice and friendly. The go-carts are extremely slow, probably the slowest I’ve driven. In all, this golf course is an affordable way to enjoy the sport without being to over the top expensive.

Played the 9-hole central course. It was a challenging experience, with many alternating Par 5s and Par 3s. The fairways are narrow and the rough isn't forgiving. There are also many beautiful water traps throughout the course. They additionally have North and South courses, for a total of 27 holes.

Unfortunately, our experience at this golf course was disappointing. Right on the first hole, the Marshall wrongly accused our group of giving lessons, which set a negative tone for the rest of the round. The tee times were scheduled too close together, making the pace of play feel rushed and stressful. The condition of the greens were average. The golf carts were unreliable—one was extremely slow and the other wouldn’t even move when pressing the gas for the first five seconds. For the price they charge, I expected a much better experience. Definitely not worth the money and we won’t be ret…
