Been here twice now. Price is low so I probably should've lowered expectations. Blue tees have tree branches hanging over a couple of them on the front 9. Grass is seemingly unmaintained for the most part. Tee boxes are nearly like the rough at other courses. Fairways are consistently hard and burned out, layout is alright for a farm field esque course. Last time I was here I had to leave because it took an hour and 45 minutes to play 5 holes and I wasn't willing to wait. The two some behind me left after 3 holes. As long as it hasn't rained greens are fine. If it's rained in the last day t…

Booked a tee time for 10am. Drove over an hour from Saginaw to get there. Got there to see there was an outing and on the door said there would be no tee times. Could not find a worker of any sort for 20+ min and nobody was answering any phones. Never called and said they werent gonna allow general public out or anything. Never even found a worker. Wasted almost 2 1/2 hours of my day in just drive time, not to mention the gas that was wasted. Do not give this place the time of day. Such a terribly ran, unorganized golf course which is unfortunate as I like to check out courses I have never bee…

Played Yesterday, and have to say, the course overall was pretty good! Just in some spots it was very muddy/mucky due to the rainfall in the previous days, but that was alright. Some bunkers were filled with water, but if you aren't the worst golfer, those shouldn't be a problem. Some tee boxes had sand on them still, but were still good. For 32 dollars, id say it was well worth the price!

Great layout, course was in reasonably good shape after the rainfall. Lots of blind shots and challenging greens. Might have been my experience, but some of the pins were very difficult, making it a lot of fun to play.

Played in a scramble here. This course hasn’t been maintained at all. All the greens have been aerated and putts bounced all over the place. The greens have yellow patches all over them, and are diseased. The tee boxes are not grassy and most of the time we were teeing off in sand. The fairways were not mowed at all to show which way to hit your drive. There are several blind shot holes, with no bells to ring. The sand traps are all over grown with weeds and there were no rakes available. Play at your own risk.

We had reserved a tee time in advance; however, upon arrival, we discovered it had been double-booked due to a golf outing. As a result, we chose to play at a different course instead.

Not the best course, the ground was like hitting cement, and the groups were backed up 6 deep. Course layout isn't ideal as you have to drive in front of the next tee box, or drive down a hill into a blind corner with 2 way traffic. Each hole that needs a bell to indicate course to hit was broken it didn't even have a bell on the post. Avoid this course if you can. Bunkers were either solid dirt, or mud, no sand to be found.

This course has to be the worst in the state of Michigan. You would think that the rich doctors that own the course would pay to get it fixed. The greens are terrible and diseased and they want way too much money for the course condition. Don't go here.

This course did not measure up to the description or reviews. Fairways, tee boxes and greens in so-so condition. Confusing layout. The fall cost for 9 holes noted $10 in the website and we were charged $19. We requested pull carts so we could walk. They were in rough shape and we had to trade in for riding cart by the 4th hole. The signage on each hole was the best part of the course, sad to say. The course presents some challenges with some sharp doglegs and streams on a couple of holes. Maybe that is why the label it a Championship course. We will not be back.

Food was wonderful, but the service was OUTSTANDING! Beautiful hidden atmosphere right outside of Mt Pleasant. From the Hostess to the Chef, we received phenomenal treatment for our childless date night! We will be back. I would suggest updating the menus to a more professional feel, but that is pretty minor overall.

Staff was nice , food was good but the course was extremely dry due to no rain lately and not much watering on the course. For me, there were too many gimmicky holes where you couldn't see your landing area so unless you hit it perfect, you had no idea where your ball might be . Won't be back to play it .

Didn’t say there was an outing on the website and had no one at the entrance to tell us what was going on when we got there. Didn’t end up golfing there. Boycott the course
