Great little course for the average golfer. My two sons, father in law and I had a good time here. The staff at the pro shop were friendly and helpful. Rental carts are older but they do the job. Reasonable greens fees too. I will definitely come here again.

Had a horrible experience when checking in for our tee time. Owners were extremely rude and told us that they are going to watch us on every hole since we are “kids” even though we are 21+ and all golfed in highschool on the varsity golf team. We know golf educate and respect all courses.

After reading the reviews I couldn’t possibly think that’d be true. But in this case it was. As an aspiring amateur golfer I thought I’d try a course in Bemidji. The Town and Country club was packed at 10am on a Thursday and Maple Ridge had every tee time available, after my brief phone call with the club house I understand why. Not even doing the service of letting me know what tee times were available was bad but acting like my money going to the course was an inconvenience was worse. Never went here, never will.

Decent course, horrible customer service, we'll never go again. Edit, owner responded and said you need to bring your own golf cart, golf clubs and other equipment; and cant be drinking even though my group was sober. According to the owner your not a real golfer otherwise. Only go to maple ridge if you're "real golfer", and have patients to deal with negativity.

to follow up on “Josh Haugen’s” post. I was there a few weeks ago and course management said i can skip around holes or jump back to hole one if it was backed up or i was waiting long. the minute i circled back after to hole one after golfing for 1.5 hours to get 4 holes in. some of the management came up to me from the pro shop and asked what i was doing. when i told him that i was following the “orders” that he had given me, he then denied all claims and tried to argue with me on what i was doing wrong. i was just following what he told me. i would not suggest on going to this course if you…

Wonderful, enjoyable, well groomed course! Jeff and his staff are very helpful and pleasant. This will be my third year as a member and I am so glad I found such a nice place to play golf!

I’m not one to leave a review but felt entitled to after our terrible experience today. It cost $84 dollars for 2 people to golf 9 holes with 2 carts which was outrageous for such a low quality course. The golf cart kept dying out on us throughout the course, and the worst part was by far the owner. Of all people, you’d think he’d know how to treat his customers but he was rude and disrespectful to us throughout our entire conversation so we decided to leave and go to a better quality place. I wouldn’t go back to this course if you paid me! Save yourself the hassle of breaking the bank and bei…

Absolutely terrible experience, the owner of this course was so disrespectful to us. He said out loud that he does not care about our business. I’m a Bemidji resident and can confidently say I will never do business here again. Here’s the story: We showed up and golfed nine and all was fine and dandy, asked the worker who was in charge at the time if we could go get lunch and come back and golf the other nine. He was a super nice guy and said no problem and that we would be able to golf for the price of if we were playing 18 right off the bat. We came back and the actual owner turned down tha…

I have never paid for a service and had such a terrible experience before. For a business based on customers, the man running things treated me as if my business was an inconvenience more than anything. I even heard him yelling at other patrons in the clubhouse. The situation made me very uncomfortable and even a bit worried for those guests. I see now from review responses that the course’s position is to direct upset customers to take their business elsewhere, which likely isn’t a problem because if my experience was anything like theirs they wouldn’t be coming back anyway. However, ignoring…

Unpleasant Experience Due to Unreasonable Owner at Maple Ridge Golf Course My recent visit to Maple Ridge Golf Course was marred by an incredibly unpleasant encounter with the owner, who displayed unreasonable behavior and lack of professionalism throughout our time there. It is regrettable to have to share such a negative experience, but it is important to highlight the owner's unacceptable actions that greatly impacted our overall enjoyment. Upon arriving at the course, we were immediately met with hostility when the owner noticed we had a speaker in our cart. Instead of politely addressin…

I love a relaxing game at this course. Great value even with a cart rental. Beautiful location and I'm looking forward to the fall season. I've played some abysmal small courses but this place is always in good condition. Great course for a casual or novice golfer.

We had a nice round on this nothern MN hidden Gem. It is a nice 9 hole course with enjoyable holes. I had a lot of fun with my dad, uncle and cousin. The owner treated us very nicely when we arrived and greeted us when we were finished with our round. I will definitely be back the next time I am in Bemidji.
