Marshfield Country Club

We were supposed to play in Springfield, but the rain pushed us East, and we were so glad it did, or we would have never discovered this gem. Loved that it is a fairly long course, providing challenging, but manageable holes. Some greens were wide but fairly shallow. So, you really need to dial in your distance if you want to be putting. The course was in excellent condition, although the driving range was understandably closed. Plenty of food, snacks and smiles welcomed us in the clubhouse. If you are looking for a beautiful, challenging course, it is definitely worth the drive.

Very fun course to play. Fairways, greens and bunkers are all in great shape. Best value of any course around. This is on the top of me and my friends list. An hour from home but well worth the drive!

Clean they are working on the watering system. Greens in great shape. Very friendly staff. Would visit again. Only issue need better access to pro shop for people with disability we also play golf. This is why the 3 stars.

Carts now have GPS controls. That would be ok if you knew where the off-limit areas were. If you are going to go to GPS controls you MUST show that on the cart video monitor. Bad decision.

Beautiful course for a heck of a price. I was in Lebanon / Springfield for work and I stopped in to play on the way to my hotel this evening. The course is in fantastic condition, super friendly staff, and a nice clubhouse as well. Pace of play was excellent and everyone I encountered was very friendly as well. I will play here anytime I'm in the area.

Very nice golf course with a challenging layout. Links style greens. Nice staff. Make the drive and play it.

First time playing this course during a fund raising scramble tournament. The course was in great condition. I would play here more often if it was closer to my house. My heart goes out to the family the event was for.

What a beautiful course! It really is a hidden treasure that's actually easy to find! I'm real glad to have found out there is such a nice golf course so close that had such a friendly staff, beautiful grounds and scenery, and even my fellow golf fans were incredibly nice! I don't think I saw a single face that didn't have a smile on it! Whispering Oaks, you really have out done yourselves. You've set bar, and have gave a the other "golf courses" in the area something to strive to become!

I booked a tee time earlier this week for a group of friends, some of whom drove two hours to meet up and play. They even arranged for a babysitter, making it a big commitment for everyone. Then, just an hour before our 11:58 tee time, I received a call saying we couldn't play because the staff forgot there was a tournament scheduled that day. This last-minute cancellation was extremely disappointing and unprofessional.

Really nice course. It is maintained very well and the club house is 5 stars for sure. I am only rating 4 cause of the lack of distance markings. I feel like it did not have anything prior to 150 out. Other than that super happy with my experience and will be visiting again soon.

Great course for a change of scenery. Greens and fairways are on point, and it definitely throws challenges your way on every hole.
