WORST PLACE. Treats people like crap and doesn’t take anyone else into consideration. If someone complains and is older than you just be prepared to be asked to leave bc apparently the elderly get what they want even if they were the issue. This shows why the golf community is entitled. Do not recommend and I wasn’t even playing. As well as the maintenance on the course is -10/10. This doesn’t even deserve one star I just have to put one to post this.

I'm not sure why your caddy boy (unsure his title) was out on the golf course by the nets towards the road yelling at people who were just walking the park sidewalk. Not even on the grass yelling we were stealing golf balls. We were just walking the sidewalk when this kid came up yelling at us. Saying the park ranger will start yelling at us and such for being on the property. We weren't even in the grass until another man had to walk on the grass to hear who he was even talking to. And the park ranger doesn't patrol the golf course so why would the park ranger be dealing with issues from the…

Friendly pro staff, and the course is in good shape. Great spot for someone who doesn't golf too often as its not difficult. Their carts are super comfortable and have GPS on them which is a nice touch. Over good experience!!

Really nice golf course. I went for the first time and I loved it that everything was green. The course is in really good shape and I would recommend anyone to come play this course!

This is a great basic and inexpensive city golf course. There isn’t much sand and hardly any doglegs. It’s named after a local hero Horton Smith who won the first Masters tournament.

I wanna start off by saying I rarely leave a bad review. Started off having an amazing round got to hole 14 where this group of four walkers were ahead of us going extremely slow. Very old guys. I yelled at them twice to let us pass. They obviously did not hear me. They saw us on the Teebox multiple times behind them. When we got back to the clubhouse, the worst part is I said hey you guys are going extremely slow. You should get a cart next time. Maybe we shouldn’t have said anything to them. But after that happened, one of the guys David, who is an employee there. Proceeded to cuss at us. An…

Simple enough course. Started a few minutes late (due to the players in front of us, no big deal), paired with another two. My friend had never played before but we were to the green in 3 strokes playing as a scramble - when the course marshall pulled up and told us to "play faster" yet the two men we were paired with had nothing said to them and they were taking the exact same amount of time. The unknown before this moment pair ended up being great to play with and we were all able to joke about how big of an unnecessary jerk the marshall was. It was an uncalled for way to start our morning,…

Good course for the money, staff always seem to be nice and attentive. Course was fairly brown due to the dry weather we’ve been having but the greens and fairways were surprisingly decent. I like the hotdog condiments and they have a good snack selection. Thanks for a great round.

paid for 18, left after it took us 2.5 hours to get though 9. Extremely crowded, and filled with groups of senior players who think they are way to good to let anyone younger play through. Not a bad place for beginners, but avoid this place if you are serious about golf and don’t want to get chewed out by grumpy old men when you ask to play through.

Great little course with challenging greens. Course was in wonderful shape in August. Staff was very helpful, Mike knows his stuff and was easy to chat with and ask questions about the course.
