In summary

Rivercut Golf Course is widely appreciated for its challenging layout, beautiful scenery, and well-maintained fairways, making it a favorite among both new and seasoned golfers. The staff is generally friendly and the course offers good value for money, though some visitors have noted issues with the condition of the greens and occasional slow pace of play. Despite these concerns, many find it a worthwhile and enjoyable golfing destination.

I’ve played this course for years and genuinely love how well kept and affordable it is. Holes are challenging and fun, hazards are great. 9 times out of 10 is a great place to play. But the latest round ended very poorly. Our threesome had booked the last tee time of the day and paid for golf carts. We had a foursome in front of us (looked like high school kids) who were walking and taking their time. We had to wait on them most holes but wasn’t a big deal, it was a beautiful evening and our group was enjoying our time on the course. Anyways on the eighth and ninth holes we let the group in…

The rough was high and the course was tough. If you cannot keep the ball in the fairway and on the greens it will punish you. With all that said: It is a beautiful course. Long and well-maintained, it will reward the long-hitter as long as you stay on the fairway. Well worth it and will absolutely play again soon.

I’m a new golfer and this seemed like a hard course but very nice. We were a bit stacked on top of each other but it worked out. Took a lesson from Rick Grayson and Russ, which was awesome.

This time of year, August/September, the heat really takes a toll on the greens. Course is still in great condition overall. Almost had a hole in one on #15.

I recently participated in a gold tournament at Rivercut. The course was clean and well kept, the greens were great! The staff that I interact with did a fantastic job. I will be back for another round.

This is a great municipal golf course. A few years ago it was rated number one public course in Missouri. The course itself has a country club feel though the greens aren’t as fast as a country club. But nice sand traps and a lot of added beauty and terrain to make it more difficult than a normal municipal course. I think it’s a terrific course. I play it sometimes on Monday when my country club is closed. It has a good driving range but has an excellent chipping range. There’s also a free small par three course with artificial greens on the far east side that you can practice on as well.

This course used to be so nice but the conditions just keep going down every year. Most of the greens are almost unplayable they are in such bad shape. The other public courses are not like this so it has to be something to do with the people running it. Plus the pace of play is super slow. Over 5 hours to play a round on a Wednesday is crazy.

For the money, you'll be hard pressed to find a better course. Challenging holes with ample bunkers that are well cared for. I paid $45 for a weekday game with a cart. The staff are very nice and attentive. If I lived close, this would be my go-to course.

Played the course today, had 11am tee time. Prior to us teeing off they had two groups of 4 that were clearly playing together and the youngest guy in the group was maybe 80. (Nothing against the elderly) and a threesome behind them. It took the group of 8 at least 20 minutes to just get off the first tee box.by the 4th hole my twosome got to visit with the threesome in front of us the twosome behind us on every tee box the rest of the way. When we finally ask about playing through they split into groups of four and told us we couldn’t get through because the group in front of them Now to the…

Course is in Great Shape! They have a new ball dispenser for their range now. Fn place to spend the day practicing or playing.

Public course has potential but the greens are trash with bare patches everywhere and mud galore. Fairways were so so. Definitely not worth the price tag.
