In summary

Mason Rudolph Golf Course is appreciated for its affordability and suitability for beginners, offering a driving range and a short 9-hole course that is ideal for practicing irons and short game. The course is noted for its friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere, making it a welcoming spot for families and novice players. However, some visitors express concerns about the maintenance of the greens and tee boxes, as well as occasional lapses in golf etiquette and course conditions.

Only four stars given because the course isn't currently open to play a round of golf. The driving range is open, so we hit a bucket of balls. It's only $6.50 per bucket and it's rarely crowded. Mason Rudolph is a good place to learn the game.

They have closed the nine hole course and let all the greens go to pot. Haven't updated the web site. Driving range only is open. Parks and recreation dept head is indecisive on making it a park or something else. IMO It's a money grab type situation, let the course go ask for funds to repair it or sell it to developers. It's truly a shame as it was a nice nine hole course. It was great for beginners and junior golfers. Perfect for senior golfers who still want to play and stay active but don't have the stamina to do the big courses anymore and affordable also since many of them are on a fixed…

Went to support continued operation of golf course. Replacing this course with a play park is nonsense. It can and should be continued as a golf course. Team up with leadership from APSU and operate it to be cost effective and self supporting. There is ample land owned by city nearby for a sweet park for all to use.

Best driving range prices, yet last time they have seemed to increase their price for a bucket of balls. Good area to practice chipping and putting for free. Judgement free 9 holes of golf, excellent place to take family or new players so they don't feel intimidated. Fairways, hazards, and greens aren't in greatest shape in off season but are decent during spring/summer. This is one of my favorite and most fun golf courses for everyday play. I recommend it for casual golfers or anyone looking to practice their iron game over a quick 9 holes, all of which are par 3 except 2 holes. We make it mo…

Really good practice facility. Good grass on the range, great practice green and friendly staff. Bring a range finder as they move tge hitting area which can make about 30 yards difference. They have a short 9 hole course which appears to be in pretty good shape, but I only use the practice facilities.

Greens are great. Challenging 9 holes. If you miss your spots or approach shot it will be a tough up and down. Definitely stay below the hole here. Great walk for $7 for 9 holes. Definitely will be back

Actually my favorite golf course because I am only a novice. Easy distances, wide areas for mistakes, and a low volume enough to feel like I am not just "wasting a good walk." I love that it has a driving range. Prices are great for what I need.

As a beginner to the golf game I really enjoyed using the driving range. It's a nice place to meet other beginner, amateur, and some should pro golfers. I'm not good enough yet to play the course but I hear it's pretty fun and easy for beginners.

9 hole all of which are straight away. Greens small with good deal of undulating surfaces, challenging. Typically greens are poor shape, and many cigarette butts, must be the new norm in some areas. Decent practice putting green, bit small and lots of elevation changes. Range was looking good, bucket balls bit pricey. Nice course to take e the kid or get out and work irons and short game.

Recent outing was spectacular! Greens and fairways superb! Often the grounds Supervisor is a one-person crew and he is the best in the business. Glad he has picked up some staff to train. What a beautiful place to golf in the heart of Clarksville!

The driving Range is the only part open. A bucket of balls is cheaper than anywhere else in Clarksville. The only downside is when I went you had to hit off of a mat. I don't know if that is normal or because of it being so late in the year.

Because of the weather here in Clarksville, as in too much rain, and this course sits very low, it is impossible to keep the greens moisture content correctly. So the course always suffers. The greens are very rough. It is a course used to learn how to play golf. Highly recommended for beginners, and those needing a quick round of golf to keep the game in check. The course should have been made friendlier for the general public, but they went over board and made the greens nearly impossible to two putt, and some of the par 3's are nearly impossible to reach from the back tees. They had to shor…
