In summary

Pebble Brook Golf Course is appreciated for its beautiful setting and challenging layout, which features significant elevation changes and strategic design. However, many visitors express concerns about the course's condition, particularly the poor state of the greens and tee boxes, and feel that the pricing does not reflect the quality offered. While the staff is generally considered friendly, the outdated equipment and lack of amenities, such as proper signage and maintenance, are also noted as areas needing improvement.

The greens on this golf course are in 1/10 condition. Plan ahead to add 5-10 strokes to your score due to putting in dirt/sand. There is more sand and dirt on the greens than there is grass. The tee boxes are so hard that you can’t get a tee in the ground. You literally can’t get a tee in the ground on half of the tee boxes. Overpriced course. I wouldn’t pay more than $25 to play here again, although they charge $68. These pics were taken 8/9/25. The course has a really cool layout, but it is in very poor condition. Friendly staff & good food at the turn. Poor golf course.

Left after 8 holes. Greens are the worst in the area. Every green looks like the pictures. Tee boxes are not mown, makes you feel like you’re hitting tee balls out of the rough. Ground is rock hard. They make you sign a waiver to use their “new carts”. Have to give your license number, address, etc. Cart is a gas powered old model with no GPS. lol Don’t make the mistake to play here!

I like this course layout and there's lots of potential, but right now it's over priced. Greens are in bad shape. Small bucket of range balls was almost $11 with no good markings to aim at when we played Just a big field with sticks for markers. No putting green that was usable. It is a pretty place but not worth the price in this shape.

I booked my tee time the day prior and no mention of any part of the course being closed. After driving more than an hour to the course the next day to find the front 9 holes were closed. My recommendation - avoid a big DISAPPOINTMENT at this place!! Given a 1 star because there are new carts.

Terrible. Worst course in TN. Charged $65 for round, $10 range balls and lost $20 worth of balls in the fairways. $100 day. Not a single green is in condition to putt. Terrible carts. They are so worried about you signing a liability waiver because they want you to pay for their broken carts. Didn’t even accelerate. Staff had no idea how the course looked and no breakfast items at 7 AM. Young man was respectful at the front. Do not waste your money here. Top clubs in Nashville and the muni’s don’t even cost this and are at least worth it. These owners are taking advantage of everyone and anyon…

Played on 4/10/26. This course is in terrible condition. Greens are terrible, tee boxes are terrible and I've played courses with better rough than these fairways. They have let the bunkers go and they are just grass holes now. What a goat farm! $55 to play here is highway robbery.

The staff is very friendly and the foundation/layout of the course is better than any other around. You can tell they are working to improve the course, but seem to be encountering different challenges. If they spend some money on signs, trash cans, tee collectors, sand for the carts, and golf ball washers - I think people would respect the course a lot more and contribute to its development. Still a good bit of work to do, but if you know what to expect its one of the most fun/beautiful layouts around.

Never before have I felt like I should have a sand rake on a green…. This course has so much potential, is located on a stunning piece of property, but is arguably unplayable due largely to green condition. Never have I seen anything quite like these “greens.” In my opinion the course should not be open until the green situation is resolved. They also ask you to sign an insanely aggressive waiver for the golf carts. I was asked to sign the waiver even though I would not be the cart driver! I truly hope they can make some positive changes as the land this course is located on has so much pot…

The course it’s self is definitely challenging, many elevation changes, dog legs, tucked greens and pin placements. However it’s a $65 dollar green fee and there’s barely any greens, most were dead from looked like lack of watering, attention and disease. 70 percent of the tee boxes are like concrete with no grass and stones all in them. The layout of the course is tough to understand holes are so far apart and hole 14 is a funny one to find your first time. The signage or lack there of made it hard to navigate around. Staff was nice foods decent but a bit over priced. It’s okay to play a time…

$65 for this course is unreal. The fairways are functional. At least 15 of the 18 greens are horrible, the other 3 are very bad. Several tee boxes didn’t have white tee areas and the grass was like hitting out of the rough. The 1 star for the fairways and most tee boxes being tolerable. Honestly, it feels like they are either about to close or the owners know Nashville has a high demand for golf and folks will try it at least once knowing it’s in terrible condition.

Course could be fun but it’s in rough shape. Played one day and got rained out so I went back to use my voucher. Greens are struggling with weeds and big sand patches, they were also supper shaggy and putt slow on both of my visits. Cart paths can be scary (see my pic of the closed cart path due to safety) and my cart had a broken windshield and check engine light. Traps are super over grown, tee boxes are hard, no practice green, and bathrooms are closed. It’s a fair price, but go play Nashville National for the same rate and much better conditions.

Despite some repairs being done on some of the holes/tee boxes this was an incredibly fun round! It was so good I came back the next day to play it again! Clean carts/amenities, great prices, and beautiful setting for golf!! Even driving the cart paths was almost like a hike through the woods. Clever design and lots of elevation changes force you to think ahead and plan your shots however it didn’t feel intimidating to a high handicapper like myself. Can’t wait to visit the area again for some more rounds!
