Visiting from Texas my son and I were looking for a challenging and moderately priced course to play. We found exactly what we wanted in The Legacy. The clubhouse was well appointed and staff courteous and helpful. The course was well manicured, the greens were perfect. Playing from the tips the course was sufficiently challenging. Played in 3 1/2 hours. The bacon smash burger and drink included in our green fee was a real bonus. Our only knock is the lack of on course water.

The Legacy was designed by PGA TOUR professional and four-time major champion Raymond Floyd who took advantage of the natural terrain and incorporated the mature woodlands and lush, rolling hills into the layout. Consequently, you’ll see tremendous views of the Tennessee countryside and surrounding area as you make your way around the layout. It’s far from the longest course in the area, but the tight fairways, water hazards, and tall grasses will keep you honest and add to the challenge. A few of the many elevation changes throughout the layout create blind approach shots into greens. Numbe…

I enjoy this course for the moderate price it is. The greens are soft and roll true. They are not fast, but in good shape. The biggest problem for this entire season is that most of the tee boxes are rock hard. You need to bring a hammer or screw driver to place your tee on most holes. They also lost numerous tee boxes and some are down to dirt. They obviously need more irrigation on boxes. But its a fun course at a good price.

The males in my family take a golf trip every year. This one was in Nashville. First we come to the course and all the staff were very friendly and courteous. They were also very welcoming. Course was great, especially for the price. Very manicured fairways and greens. Not extremely challenging but very well laid out. Some holes were narrow but most gave you a little room to work. I would recommend this course to anyone.

The management here is trash. Absolutely no personality in the pro shop, and who over the alleged marshal is is absolutely ignorant. drove an hour and a half to come play this course with some friends, and literally got screamed at on hold 16 that we were behind Pace play, only to finish up the round at four hours and 20 minutes even with golfers that have never played before as we explained to them, we are picking up and moving on, not holding a piece of play, his comment was, and you thought Sunday morning was a great time to bring out golfers who had never played before? Course is in medioc…

Went to legacy for the first time this week. Great course to play and very friendly staff. Course is a good challenge for seasoned golfers but not overly intimidating for a new golfer. Highly recommend this course to anyone.

This course is 45 minutes from me but I still consider it my home course. There are several courses closer but this is always worth the drive rain or shine. The course is always in immaculate conditions from the tee boxes to fairways to the greens. The greens are some of the best greens I have ever played on - they are big, complex and roll amazing, even in the rain. The clubhouse guys are always super helpful and very cool, and the snack bar ladies are so friendly and have the best burger you’ll ever eat at a golf course. I have been coming here consistently for around 2 years and couldn’t re…

So disappointed! MEMBERS can do better. Lets begins with , this was our first time at this course and it truly was Beautiful ! And well worth the money. We were paired with a great female couple, making us a foursome , 3 females and one male. We are decent players and have played golf for many years. Needless to say, we were finishing the 7th hole ( and well under 2 hours), and had a MEMBER- not the course marshal, come and inform us we were playing too slow, and we had to let a fivesome PASS US ( note- he was part of the fivesome ). The two ladies we were paired with, stated they’re alwa…

Course in horrible shape. Greens are ok but everything else is dried out and crappy. Couldn’t put a tee in the ground on most holes since it was so hard and dry. Don’t play here!

The pro shop and snack bar staff were very friendly and helpful. Great food and drink options! The course was challenging but fair. Fees are very reasonable. Can't wait to come back and see what it looks like when the work is done! We will definitely play here again.

GREAT LITTLE HIDDEN GEM!! COURSE WAS IN GREAT SHAPE AND FUN LAYOUT . YOU PLAY THOUGH A NEIGHBORHOOD, BUT NEVER REALLY FELT THAT WAY.HOUSES WERE FAR ENOUGH OFF THE FAIRWAYS TO NOT BE AN ISSUE. STAFF COULD NOT HAVE BEEN ANY FRIENDLIER OR MORE ACCOMMODATING. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!
