In summary

Swan Lake Golf Course is appreciated for its well-maintained greens, challenging layout, and reasonable pricing, making it a favored public course in the area. The staff is generally regarded as friendly, and the carts are equipped with modern technology. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about slow pace of play, crowded conditions, and occasional issues with customer service, particularly regarding tee time management and rain check policies.

just thought id leave this here. You guys ever wonder what the deal with that Randy Book Rhooting back in 2012? just a few years ago you used to see so much interesting info about how it was actually a FEMA drill or hat the schools lunch food was being shipped to another school for a while. I even heard talk of all the cars in the parking lot having expired tags! that's crazy! why is this like the only one of its kind we are not able to talk about? wild The 12th hole has a strnage divet in the ground that i heard this all from. the noise being grumbled out vibrated against my ears in sucha w…

No rain checks or refund for a back nine we paid for and couldn’t make happen because tee times started late and are stacked 10 minutes apart on a weekend… tee time 9:20 (didn’t start till almost 9:35) and approached the 10th tee at 11:50 with another group already waiting for the group on the green. 3 groups on the same hole. 30 ish minutes behind pace. Pro shop basically said tough luck, I dont make the rules, and kick rocks or wait. Won’t spend any more time or money here, which is a shame because the course and new facilities are pretty nice!

Great public course.......6400 yards from the tips doesn't seem like much, but undulations of the fairways and greens make it seem alot longer. Fast greens, fantastic course.

Update spring 2023….poor selection in golf shop, bad computers and credit card terminals, holes not having hole maps, no ball cleaners, being clueless where to go, screens on carts don’t work, people always complaining about playing faster when no one is here, pins missing in greens....rough start Course is great.. Technology in carts and being able to hook up music is great. Wish there was a cart girl passing out drinks or waters. Pro shop has a very weak variety of goods. Woman serving hamburgers was super nice.

I played this course for the first ever after not playing any golf for over 10 years. Not bad at all. A very pleasant staff, reasonably well priced, and an all around nice but challenging course. Just don't play on the weekends if your looking for a nice quiet game. For some reason it seems speed rounds are played during that time. Less than 20 minutes a hole for four is a bit much. To the best of my knowledge we don't have a vast majority PGA regulars who live and play here in Clarksville. Note to self: Go during the week.

Only thing good about this course is the greens rolled great. Fairways are terrible. Holes on top of each other to where you get hit into. Let’s two-somes play all the time separate so they ride up on you. Which made it really not enjoyable. Club house staff was okay guy on phone was rude when calling for tee time. Not sure I will be back.

Fast greens in the summer. Very reasonably priced. Kept up well. Plenty of very challenging holes.

There is no driving range. Just a heads up if you've never golfed here. There is a net you can use, but can't really get a feel on how your doing compared to a driving range. There is a putting green to practice on. The carts are updated and have course map, hole info, and yardage. The 10th hole is fun. Honestly if there were less trees it could almost feel like a link's course. I'd give it a better rating but nit having a driving range is a really weird for any golf course. But, I did see a fox kit on 11. It was so cute, I was close to petting it until workers came up being idiots and chas…

Course is nice but crowded. There were a lot of 4’s being yelled!! Sign in process is horrible especially if you’re driving the cart. You’d think you were at Augusta!! The only person who was nice there was the girl giving you your cart! Bless her for fulfilling a position that isn’t necessary! I wanted to punch the guy behind the counter and the old geezer at the first tee box! I’ll never be back!!

We will get to the negstive reviews.... 1st off Swan Lake is the best course between this side of Nashville and Hopkinsville. The greens are always great, along with the fairways and tee boxes. Yes during certain times of the season the course is out of shape but it always comes back. I'm thankful for a course as nice as Swan to be public and not charge an arm and a leg. Does it grt crowded sure but that's just thr nature of how much Clarksville has grown. Don't like it, get an earlier tee time. Now the negative reviews... To the driver that had their windshield hit, it's not the courses re…

On Friday around 6:12 PM, a golf ball from this course cracked my windshield as I was driving on Dunbar Cave road. When I contacted the staff, I was met with complete indifference. No apology, no help, no accountability — just a shrug. There are ZERO protective nets or warning signs near the road where this happened, which is outrageous for a business that knowingly operates right next to a public road. It’s clear they don’t care about the damage their course causes or the people affected by it. Accidents might happen, but doing absolutely nothing to prevent them — and then refusing to take r…
