In summary

McKenzie Meadows Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, friendly staff, and enjoyable layout that caters to various skill levels. Many visitors appreciate the excellent amenities, including practice facilities and a welcoming clubhouse atmosphere. However, some guests have experienced issues with customer service, particularly in the clubhouse restaurant and with staff organization, which have occasionally marred their overall experience.

McKenzie Meadows has become a favourite of mine whenever I'm visiting family in Calgary. Not only is the course in great shape and fun to play, the food is always delicious and fairly priced. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and clearly take pride in creating a great experience for guests. If you're in Calgary and looking for a top-tier public course with great amenities and a welcoming vibe, McKenzie Meadows should definitely be on your list.

Went out for a great round today! Conditions were fabulous and pace of play was smooth. We stopped in the lounge afterwards for some food and drinks, and server was excellent. He was very attentive and made sure that we were comfortable and well taken care of. The chicken quesadilla was delicious!

This review is for the Club House Restaurant! Golf course itself is amazing but go somewhere else for food. Group of us today went golfing, figured we could quickly have a bite for dinner before leaving. After about 15 mins we had the bartender come up and ask if we needed anything, we did, we asked for menus. And then he never ever came back. Two more tables walked in and got service eventually but not us. In total, after about 25 mins of waiting we gAve up and went to our local neighborhood pub for food. Really really sad they have groups of 4 paying over $400 for golfing but can't enjoy a n…

Love McKenzie, well kept and not overly challenging for my 20 hdcp. They have great practice facilities with a double sided range, a chipping area and large green. Great place to golf in SE Calgary!

*Important* this review is in regards to the east facing range only. This once decent range has gone to shit. There is no question that the balls at the range are by far the worst in the city. It started at the ball dispenser when the entire bucket of balls had dried dirt and/or mud on every single ball. We purchased 2 buckets and they were all in the same horrible condition. To add to the ball description, the overwhelming condition of the balls were beyond used. Several balls had very little simple patterns which drastically affected the ball flight (or lack thereof). What a waste of time at…

Awful customer service; called to cancel a tee time the day of due to illness. I wasn't seeking a full refund at that time but was immediately told that my cancellation was past the required 48 hour notice of being eligible for rain check or refund. (Thank you for treating me like I'm an idiot McKenzie Meadows Pro Shop or for even showing some compassion). Total lack of customer service skills - it's at the end of the season and honestly, would it destroy the golf course to extend a discount offer to use for next season? We golf 1-3 times/ week as well as spending money in the restaurant and p…

This is one of the best places to golf in Calgary. The staff are friendly, the clubhouse has great food, their store always has new items and most importantly, the golf course itself is very well kept and fun to play on !!!

Always enjoy getting out at Mckenzie Meadows. The course was in good shape considering the amount of rain we have had this week. Finishing a round under 3 hours is just a bonus.

We played 18 holes today for the first time at this course. The course itself is fantastic—beautiful, well-maintained, and a pleasure to play. Unfortunately, the experience was soured by the disorganized and unprofessional behavior of the staff. Due to rain, cart rentals were understandably unavailable. However, they also ran out of push carts, creating delays as we had to wait for returning players to hand theirs off. The real issue wasn’t the shortage, but how poorly it was managed. Staff were handing out push carts to players with later tee times who were just heading to the range, while w…

We played 18 holes yesterday and the marshall was respectful and friendly. He even came by to thank us on the last hole for keeping pace. The course is beautiful and very well-maintained. Would highly recommend this course.

We were in town for work this week from out of province and had the chance to play some golf around the city. To put it simply, we played at what we felt was the best course in the city first and shouldn’t have played anywhere else! Like Disney, this management does all the small things excellently. The course was in amazing condition and maintained properly, with care. We hope to be back soon

The staff are very helpful hauling our equipments going to a specific hole where we need to set-up. After taking souvenir photos of all participants in the CRRA Golf Tournament, they are the first one to lend a hand. I will definitely go back to try the 18 holes as their guest instead of being a vendor. Xpressbooth.ca
