In summary

HeatherGlen Golf Course is generally appreciated for its well-maintained greens, challenging yet fair layout, and friendly, attentive staff, making it a popular choice for both beginners and more experienced golfers. The course offers a peaceful atmosphere and good value for its quality. However, some visitors have experienced issues with slow pace of play and inconsistent marshal interactions, which can detract from the overall experience.

Solid golf course and I played here the most out of any other course. Most days it’s maintained quite well but there are certainly times where some places look worn down or need attention. Brings in a mixture of golfers, mainly ones that are looking to have fun rather than play seriously or competitively. Good learners or beginners course

Beautiful place.. 18 holes are a bit stretch for me but in a good day one really enjoys. I have one comment regarding the washrooms availability which we found near the 14th only, otherwise everything was beautiful.

Played Heather Glenn this week and was really impressed. The layout is both challenging and fair, with a nice mix of long par 4s, reachable par 5s, and some tricky short holes that really test your accuracy. The greens were in excellent shape—fast, true, and well-protected by bunkers. Fairways were cut tight, and rough wasn’t overly punishing but still made you work for recovery shots. The scenery was a bonus and the course has a really peaceful atmosphere. Pace of play was smooth and staff were friendly and helpful from check-in to the 19th hole. Overall, it’s a course I’d recommend to anyo…

Good course for what is it. The changed layout is not bad, couple blind tee shots but otherwise pretty good. The only downsides would be the bunkers, they look like sand but its more like hard, coarse dirt. Would be much better if they were topped off with sand. Secondly, the pace of play is a coin toss. I have played this course in 3.5 hours, and the other day it was a 5 hour round with no Marshall to be seen. Other than that, not a bad course for the price.

I've played several rounds at Heatherglen for the past few years, and I will continue to do so in the future. From the second you come in, the staff are always welcoming and helpful. The check in process is quick and easy, staff in the pro shop are friendly and quick to relay information about the course conditions. The driving range and warm up area are more than enough to prepare for your round. The course itself is always in good shape, and you can tell there is a concerted effort to maintain the playing areas. I've always enjoyed my experience at Heatherglen be it a round with friends or p…

Had a tee time at 8AM. Great course. Very beautiful. Really challenging in my opinion. Finished the 18 hole course in 4 hrs. Lost 8 balls in the first half 9 and 1 ball at the back 9. 🤣

Not a bad little stretch, could be a tad cheaper. Greens and fairways are in good maintenance, though greens are a little inconsistent nothing too bad. Tee boxes are at a wide range of maintenance levels, some are dry and too firm to get a tee far into, others are are a perfect firmness. Overall a satisfactory experience.

Great course to golf on. We were both beginners and found that the course was challenging yet beginner friendly as there were no houses or close targets.

I had a wonderful time golfing! The course was in excellent condition, and the entire experience was top-notch from start to finish. A special shoutout to Selina on the beverage cart — she was incredibly friendly and personable, and truly added to the great atmosphere. Always smiling and had great conversations, she made the day even more enjoyable. Looking forward to coming back!

Great golf course for the price. The first couple holes are quite narrow but the back end really opens up. Nothing too challenging but just an overall nice course. If walking you do have some large treks from green to tee. If you get the golf Calgary card you get 10 percent off and get to qualify 50 days for 50% off.

The course itself is excellent — beautiful layout, well-maintained, and most of the marshals were polite, respectful, and genuinely helpful. Gary in particular was fantastic; he set a great tone for the day. We were keeping pace, even waiting at several holes for groups ahead of us, so there was never an issue with slow play. Gary even mentioned that a couple of groups earlier in the day had slowed things down, which was no big deal — it was a lovely day to be out. Unfortunately, our experience was soured on the 17th hole by one marshal (man bun). Despite there being no group behind us and a…

when they went from 27 to 18 holes i thought they would make the 18 good. wrong. trees have overgrown the course layout. everything is narrow and wind makes it really difficult. greens are ok if you dont mind 15-20 unrepaired divots. Carts are garbage. cart paths are in disrepair. tee boxes are uneven. ground under repair all over. sand traps are actually good. everything else is meh.
