In summary

Lakeside Greens Golf Club is appreciated for its well-maintained greens and fairways, as well as its friendly and helpful staff. The course offers a variety of challenging holes, but some visitors find the layout confusing and signage lacking. Common criticisms include slow pace of play, frequent interruptions by marshals, and issues with mosquitoes, which can detract from the overall experience.

First time playing at Lakeside Golf Club and I had a great time! It’s a nice course. Well kept and fun to play. It was a bit windy during our round, and I’ll admit I was a little nervous about hitting a window with how close some houses are! But overall, it was a really enjoyable experience.

Very nice Golf Course, some of the holes are tough but the greens are always nice and everything is maintained pretty well. The only problem is if you don't rent a cart, it's quite a long walk. Overall great golf course for the price and location.

Piper is so great! She was the highlight of the season, always putting a smile on the customers face and always in such a happy and bubbly mood! Can’t wait to see her back next year!!

Absolutely Not Worth the $70!!! Worst-Designed Course I’ve Played This was hands down the worst golf course I’ve ever played and certainly not worth anywhere near $70. Course Layout: Don’t even think about walking this course. You have to cross a public street three separate times, and the holes are so poorly marked throughout. I literally got lost trying to find the first tee box, even after asking the pro shop, who just vaguely pointed outside and said “that way,” not bothering to mention I’d have to cross a street. So I ended up on the 5th tee box. I also got lost also lost finding holes…

When we went, we were advised that the golf course was "wet," but instead of wet grass, we found the place flooded. They should have been more transparent on how bad the golf course was at the time. So many ponds are overflowing on to the courses. On the bright side, we still got our steps in.

I should start by stating that I am not a Pro Golfer. I am just a occasional golfer and I found this golf course to be "stressful". So here is why the 3 stars: 5 stars for the staff that run the pro shop, range, carts, etc. Really great service from them and very friendly. Now when it comes to playing here I would give this a 1 star, because it is quite stressful. One thing that makes it stressful is the fact that the houses are very close to the fairway and you are responsible for any damage you may cause. The second thing is the marshal coming to rush you every so often. I literally had to r…

This course is kinda garbage. We had a 5.5 hour round waiting at every hole. When I looked around, people were waiting at every tee box I could see. Bad Course Management. The course is laid out very poorly, with almost no signage. So you just hope you're heading to the right next hole while you drive across streets and past other tee boxes. Bad Design The pro shop blonde kid was bored and didn't care about his job at all. He looked like he has given up, same with the marshals. Nobody seemed to care. Bad Management (again) The wait staff in the restaurant were very nice, and our meals were go…

The guy at the first hole likes to talk trash about customers, to other customers while they are standing with in ear shot. Rude and inconsiderate. Sometimes things run behind, and he teed off people from tee times after our party anyway so we weren’t actually holding any one up. He also talked trash about people in our party and their skill in teeing off. We aren’t all Tiger Woods, bud. Sorry, I guess. Do better.

Our family loves Lakeside. Beautiful course with a good variety of holes with differing lengths and challenges. Driving range has a old tin boat to hit- very satisfying! Rusty putter is tasty, got a great menu, and is very well priced.

105$ with a cart on Saturday morning to play a course with majority of fairways struggling to stay alive and greens that are basically dead. I think it’s a real Munson move to charge this amount for the quality of course considering courses such as Kananiskis isn’t that much more, next time I’m down in Calgary lake side won’t be my first choice 😂 Not to mention they are watering during a water ban tough look all around lakeside…

Great course usually in great shape. The grounds and super does a great job at taking care of the course . Not too hilly. Technical and challenging without being over the top. Makes you play smart.

When asked Marshalls expect pace of play to be 3.5 hours for 18 holes. Constantly harassed even if you finish the front 9 in 1.75 hours. Course is in great condition. If it wasn’t for the Marshall it would have been great day.
