What People Say

In summary

Mesquite Golf & Country Club is appreciated for its affordability, friendly staff, and picturesque mountain views, making it a good value for casual golfers. The course layout is generally liked, though some visitors note that it could benefit from maintenance and upgrades, particularly following flood damage. Common criticisms include slow greens, limited amenities, and a slow pace of play due to the presence of beginners.

Nice Golf course. A little dated. It probably was a private country at one time mabye 30 years ago. Great scenery of the mountains. We played on Jan 17 2021. Played in afternoon. It was only $30 with a cart. Needs little upgrading and more maintenance but has potential and we had a great time. It's worth coming when no one is here. It's a good value. I would come again. Enjoy!

Not bad for the price, especially if you used Groupon like I did. First 18 of the year for me and just the 2nd golf experience ever for my GF so we didn’t want to pay a lot or deal with crowds and this place fit the bill. Yes, there are issues. Greens are overgrown and slow, no bar or restaurant to speak of and they lack restrooms on the back nine. I guess a flood created some issues and could not re-open fully. Otherwise the fairways were in decent shape and we had the privacy we were looking for. Pro tip: make sure to take your own beer, water and snacks. They do offer up some sandwiches an…

Played here today and really enjoyed it. $40 including cart. The course itself is a good test and there are some lovely challenging holes. Some of the greens need a bit of repair but apart from that they were in good shape and the ball rolled well on them.

Loved staying in the condo I rented. The grounds directly around it were beautiful but the golf course was so ugly to look at. I'm not sure what was going on with it.

This was a pleasant experience for me. I'm a 77 year old pretty New golfer and played a 103 which is a little over my score at home. If you are used to great golf courses with lots of dog legs and huge greens you probably won't enjoy this course, but if you are just a fair golfer and would rather spend $50 or less on a round, you'll like this course. The electric cart was fast and came with a cooler bag with ice already in it. The young man who served us was very friendly and helpful. Expect to see dozens of squirrels, ducks and geese.

Kind of a hidden gem. It's not the best course in the area by any means, but I just payed $50 on a holiday at 8:30 in the morning... During prime season. You can't beat that. Decent driving range and short game area. Wasn't too busy. Worth the price if you don't wanna spend $100 for golf.

This is definitely not a place to go if you can golf.... At least not on the weekend. You had to wait every shot. Tons of beginners just learning to play and not familiar with etiquette. The conditions are terrible and they have a ton of temporary holes because of damage from over a year ago!! I'm not sure what's taking so long to make the repairs. I guess they don't care because people are still coming out. They are the cheapest price in the valley. The staff are all friendly.

Even though this course is priced very cheaply it is still not worth your time and effort to play it. There was a flood that went through the creek that goes through the golf course a while ago. This is not been fixed and it looks like no attempt is being made to repair it or to keep the tea boxes and fairways in shape. The greens are long and shaggy. I really don’t have anything positive to say about it.

It's ok. I wish they had half stars, I'd like to give a 3.5. Course is in ok shape and greens are fun and in better shape than the rest of the course. It seems that it's beyond its glory days. They were mowing and didn't stop while hitting and didn't seem to care if they were in your shot line. Kind of annoying. Fun overall.

With more investment and some hard work Mesquite really can become a premier desert course again. The staffing situation is really good led by Robert and Management team. Shout out to for Joe, great guy and really friendly, helpful service. Have to say I am impressed. First visit for over 5 years and will definitely be back.
