A very nice golf course in good shape. There’s lots of challenges with doglegs, narrow fairways and speedy greens. There’s lots service is friendly and you actually see effective Marshall’s. I’d recommend to visit if in town.

Course is in amazing shape! Hit 18 and was extremely happy with all greens and fairways. Staff were great and helpful, I took a little too long getting off on my tee time and the staff were super understanding. Ordered food and it was available to pick up at their entrance. The course is fairly difficult but perfect for all levels from beginner to experienced because of the large fairways. Definitely will recommend and will 100% be back.

Early October. Greens were punched last week and somehow still very playable. 1st time playing there but not the last. By next week the greens should be fabulous. Nice layout and we felt like we were alone on the golf course. Nobody pushing us or slowing us down.

Played the 9-hole and the 18-hole course. 18-hole is beautiful this time of year. Greens were perfect and running really fast. There was tournament play today so the pins were in very challenging locations. Overall, great experience.

Been going to metcalf just about every weekend since this season started. Amazing course, challenging yet so much fun. I played yesterday the 10th and that’s what sparked this review. The changing of leafs makes this course even more beautiful. The greens are immaculate always can count on them for a true roll, they were punches yesterday yet were still rolling better than most. Lastly, I usually golf by myself or with my fiancée and have never gotten paired with someone that didn’t make the metcalf experience even more enjoyable. Thanks. 5/5

Based on many previous Google reviews I was expecting more from my experience. However, in hindsight was pleased by the service (5-star), but disappointed by the golf(1-2 stars) = 3-star overall rating. Yes, the course (and many others in the Ottawa Valley) clearly took a beating this past winter. Greens on the front nine are awful- should be ‘2-put’ greens. Some of the fairways have faced years of neglect, improper drainage and care. Ever played through a hydro tower? If no and you want to, this is your course! This is a country course, and not a well manicured or consistently groomed course…

Great golfing tucked away off highway 8. Dad and I played here and enjoyed it so much we went for another round. Clean fairways, well manicured greens, the first 5 on the 9 hole is a tad back and forth but the golfing overall was great. Clubhouse is loud but entertaining and fun. Fees are reasonable given the cost of other courses nearby.

Course isn't as dried out as several others. Decent challenge, decent conditions, great price and the restaurant offers good food at good prices

Played 9 at Metcalfe today. The course is in good condition and everyone is friendly. We waited to tee off at every hole, the marshall explained that a group 3 holes in front of us was holding everyone up, he had asked them to speed things up. It was a very slow round and obviously Metcalfe is afraid of offending anyone even if they're holding eveyone else up.

We hosted our third annual Swinging For Hope golf tournament at Metcalfe Golf Course, June 2nd 2025. Wow! What an incredible day, once again. The course was in fantastic shape! The staff were absolutely amazing, helpful and kind. We work closely along side Rob throughout the year to make this day go as smoothly as possible and he was an absolute pleasure to work with. Rob went above and beyond to make sure we had a perfect day. We cannot thank the entire team of staff there enough for a wonderful day. We can’t wait to be back there next year! Thank you Metcalfe Golf Course❤️
