Mink Meadows is gentle golf—no tricks, no crazy layouts—just straightforward, island golf the way it should be. It’s a 9-hole course with an 18-hole offering thanks to alternate tee boxes that keep the round fresh the second time through. The course is bordered by woods, so if you’re prone to a slice or fade, bring a full box of balls. It’s forgiving off the tee in spots, but errant shots can disappear quickly. As an 11 handicap, I shot a 41 on the front 9 and left feeling pretty good. Hole 3 was my favorite—there’s a slight elevation change and the pin placement can turn a simple approach i…

Really well kept when I visited in mid September. Greens were fast and consistent. There aren’t any water features which could make this course more interesting, but also made it feel unique. The longer par 3s are not forgiving, but the wide open par 5s give some room to make up for that

Lovely 9 hole golf course that plays 18, the tees have two setting so that hole 1/10 will play differently. The practice area although small is well maintained. The employees are very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend

Very entertaining 9 hole hidden gem. Staff is very friendly. Course plays quickly and is easy to walk. Best greens on the island during my visit. Not terribly long, but you do get to hit the driver plenty after the first few holes. The tee shot on 9 is the best shot on the course.

I really like the layout and conditions of this course. It is not as fancy as my home club and the greens aren't as fast, but I feel it really matches the vibe of the Island. THe course design is excellent with well designed fairway bunkers and some waste areas and challenging green complexes. Decent practice area. New irrigation system. Negatives: The course is very short. There is no restaurant or bar and no alcohol available (or allowed) for the course.

I recommend that you do not use the prepaid option as I was double charged and MINK MEADOWS could not resolve the dispute. I had to go through the credit card company and file a dispute which ties up my funds for weeks. Very disappointed with this establishment.

It's a fun little course, but, unfortunately, non member singles cannot make reservations, and it seems to be very difficult for a single to get on the course before noon.

The only public driving range I could find on MV. It's small, narrow and doesn't have much going on, and you can't use woods because it's ~165 yards long. But hey, it's MV, and I'm just a tyro. My family of newbies had a blast on a perfect weather day. Plus the regular folks who warm up on the driving range often left balls for us to finish off - awesome.

Low cost, too little parking, service is limited. Staff are ok, but you need to ask for anything. Don't rent their pull carts; like most of the course too worn and barely functional.

What a beautiful nine hole golf course. In great condition, nice people everywhere. The view on the 8th is the best. Also like the setup for front nine/back nine in case you like to walk 18.
