Mississippi Golf Club

The Mississippi is hands down my favourite course in the greater Ottawa area. I learned how to golf here many, many years ago and have had the pleasure to play with new friends as well as those who have now departed us. It's a very special place to me, run incredibly well and you can tell their pour their love into the course. A lovely patio to watch the rounds come in, and overall it's just a great atmosphere. Respect the course, and she may respect you back. Just probably not teeing off on #4. We're still working on that part of our relationship.

Best golf course by far.From the fairways to the greens.Food is homemade and it taste awesome. I would recommend to every golfer in the Ottaw,Kanata,Almost etc .area.

Even though we have not had a lot of rain in the last few weeks, the course is still in great shape!

Just under an hour from DTown Ottawa and it was in great condition. Bit of a funky last hole but a fine course!

Great round of golf, the course is in really good condition with consistent greens and well maintained fairways. Had a quick round of 18 in 4:20 which was awesome and very enjoyable. The beverage cart and food service were great too.

A golf treasure in the quaint little town of Appleton. Always in immaculate shape... greens are perfect. Tee boxes are perfectly manicured and assigned with flowers. Best compliment I can give this course is that it is fair. If you're a little off, it doesn't kick your ball OB or into a hazard. I have never had a bad round at the Mississippi GC.

Well maintained and beautiful course. Worth every penny!

I have to rate this as the best course I’ve played in the area; a really mature (107 years) course that has obviously been loved in all that time. All the facilities are the highest standard, greens, fairways, tees, carts and paths, there’s nothing that isn’t well looked after, and the covered bridge is something I’ve never seen on a course before! The icing on the cake however is the friendliness of the staff, I’ve never felt so welcome as a guest and the starter sent me on my way by saying “It’s always a great day when you’re on a golf course” you can’t say better than that.

Great conditions in early July. Soft fairways and quick challenging greens. Good bang for your buck if you are willing to drive a 20 minutes out of the city.

What a beautiful course! From the well kept greens, to the diverse holes, great driving range and finishing off at the clubhouse where you can enjoy an ice cold beer over looking the Mississippi River. Doesn’t get much better than that! Amazing service, friendly staff.

I've been booking my tee off times as soon as they become available (early in the week) for the weekend. In the case of Mississippi Golf, they don't take on-line booking so I called on Tuesday and booked a spot for 2 on Saturday ad 8:52. I asked the guy if he needed anything else, he said you are good. Weekend weather was perfect and we were looking forward to our early start on the course. I arrived at 8:30 only to find out we did not have a tee-off time in the morning as it is for members only.
