The Monroe Country Club has easily become our favorite semi local course. It's about an hour drive out for us but worth the drive 100%. We've always enjoyed the toughness of this course and this weekend was its best for sure!! The rough was extra thick, deep and sometimes unforgiving... the greens were freshly rolled the morning we played and were the fastest we've seen them! Flag locations had a nice variety of difficulty. We come here for the challenge and a challenge is what we got! Honestly I'm no Pro, I shoot an 8 handicap and compared to my local courses, this makes me imagine what a tru…

First time using their golf simulator and it was above and beyond. Amazing course to play for the money during the season but the hospitality on the simulator (best tech in the industry) during the winter months was above and beyond. A big thank you to all staff and highly recommend for those who have a free day to keep their game going. Doesn’t matter your experience level at all. It’s a great time for all! 11/10

First time coming here and was staying in the area for another event. I came on a Tuesday evening around 5:30 p.m. and immediately got on to the back nine holes. There was a league that was playing on the front nine, so I played the back nine twice and I completed all 18 within two and a half hours as a single. The course was in very good shape other than from the recent heavy rains.

Golfed here for the first time this past Saturday, and it was definitely worth the 45 minute drive. Course was in great shape and challenging. Bar/restaurant was fun with a nice outdoor space, and the staff was very kind. On the day we were there, the beverage cart service finished a little earlier than normal. We met the manager who was out driving around asking people how they were enjoying the course. He volunteered to drive back and return with a round of beverages for our group, which we all appreciated. Will definitely return.

This was the first time I had played the course and was very pleased with it (my score was another matter!). The course presents a number of challenges -- water hazards primarily -- and these require a careful approach. I will definitely return to play the course and hope, now that I am familiar with it, to be able to do better.

Even with all the rain recently, the course played well and will be even better the next time I play.

Played this course for the first time with a group of 20 on our annual golf trip. The staff treated us like royalty. Customer service is not dead. Also, you better be below the hole! Great course and I would definitely play again.

Underrated golf course and wonderful value for the caliber of golf. Quality food as well and rarely if ever busy!

7 of us played here for the 1st time. It was extremely windy (picture yourself swaying back and forth many times while getting ready to swing or putt). The course was in pretty nice shape. The leaves weren't real bad for the end of Oct. The greens were fast but fair. I can't give it 5 stars because it's a typical older course with many straight holes. Not real long. 6 par 3's. We are all in our 60's & will definitely go back but probably play the blues instead of the whites. Restaurant was recommended & didn't disappoint. Not great, but very good. Excellent staff, from the shop & the wait staf…

Great Course and some of the best service I’ve ever received at a course. And that includes some high end country clubs and resorts. Highly recommend
