In summary

Morgan Creek Golf Club is appreciated for its friendly staff, well-maintained fairways, and enjoyable course layout, featuring challenging holes with rolling hills and elevation changes. The clubhouse and bar receive positive remarks for their service and atmosphere. However, some visitors have raised concerns about inconsistent course maintenance, particularly regarding greens and tee boxes, as well as issues with cart reliability and event management.

My expectations were high. This was my first time here for golf. The Bar looked cool, the club house looked good. The shop wasn't marked well so we were just meandering around looking. Staff was nice at the desk. The practice range was small. They had room for our 4some but when busy I could see us skipping a practice shot. Carts well well maintained, cleaned and washed after each use. Not an expert on links, but played for many years. Fairways were cut well, and the greens were too. The fairway maintenance looked old.. just not being maintained. The greens were littered with divets, doesn't l…

Subject: Formal Complaint – Wedding on May 24, 2026 Dear Lorraine and Team at Morgan Creek Golf Club, I am writing to formally express my concerns regarding the level of hospitality, communication, and professionalism I experienced in connection with my wedding held at your venue on May 24, 2026. At the outset of my planning process, I worked with Max, who was organized, accommodating, and clear in his communication. However, following a transition in coordination, I encountered unexpected and confusing changes to my original contract. While these issues were ultimately addressed, the lack…

We golfed today, after several days of rain this past week, and the greens were good. A few patches here and there, but overall a beautiful course that was well maintained. Also the customer service and the marshall were so fun and friendly! We will be back, for sure!

The last 3 rounds I’ve played here have been a disaster. The first one, my cart died on hole 13. I tried to call the shop and they never answered so I had to walk all the way back and forth which made an awkward bottleneck when I resumed play. The second time, my cart DIED AGAIN on hole 15. AGAIN NO ANSWER from pro shop. Then to top it all off, a sprinkle pops up right next to me and soaks all of my gear and myself. Had to push the cart out of sprinkler, then hike back drenched. The third time, the sprinklers came on about 6 pm and soaked all of my gear AGAIN. Not once has this course tried…

Played this course on May 3rd 2026 and wow has it gone downhill. Tee boxes were awful, fairways not much better. The greens were diseased, bare and scarred and to make it worse the pin placements were just stupid. Purposely put in really difficult areas. Absolutely not worth the money and doubt we’ll be back.

Morgan Creek Golf Course is in good condition on fairways and greens! 🙂 The sand traps need some attention. Recommend you rake and place!😬 Service in the restaurant and bar was good. We had some loaded chicken nachos after the round!😋 You can hit off the grass on the driving range. However, in the morning, you hit directly into the sun. There is also a chipping area and separate putting green. The speed of play was great? I played in the morning and finished in four hours.😘 Friendly staff.

Course is long for walking, it was my first time walking it. Bar is good, awesome staff. Shop is small but probably adequate for the setting. Food was ok.

Some overseeing would have done this place another level. Tee Boxes need to be mowed more often and the bunkers need to be trimmed and weeded. Not up to par with other places at same price. Boggy + level.

Played yesterday. Morgan Creek is making a great comeback after 15 days without water. One green was vandalized and it is healing great. Please have patience and know they are doing their best getting the course in great shape. Starter JD was amazing. Friendly and fulll of great knowledge. Thanks JD. We need more starters like you.

A park where you can take a break from the noise. But it can be very crowded here.

Played as a Duo on Monday Morning. Had a very good experience. I only remember one green that was in really rough shape but it was a large green and the hole was on the opposite side. Overall for the price I was very pleased. A full size 18 hole course with the cart for under $50 is hard to beat.
