In summary

Woodcreek Golf Club is appreciated for its scenic layout and friendly staff, with some visitors enjoying the well-maintained greens and the driving range. However, many reviews highlight issues with overall course maintenance, including poor fairway conditions, unkempt bunkers, and slow pace of play. While some golfers have had positive experiences, others feel the course does not justify its price due to these recurring maintenance concerns.

Woodcreek Golf Club is absolutely beautiful with a well-manicured course that's just a pleasure on the eyes. The greens are in excellent condition and the layout scenic. I rarely golf, so my only complaint? My golf game will probably never live up to the quality of the course! It's not the club's fault I can't drive, chip, or putt! Seriously though, this is a top-notch facility that any golfer would enjoy. Highly recommend!

This course has seen better days. Some of the fairways had no grass and were just dirt or mud. Very rough shape even for early in the season. I probably will not play here again.

Woodcreek Golf Course might be one of the worst cared for golf courses in Northern California. The place was absolutely destroyed and yet they still find a way to charge $65 for a weekend tee time. I’ve seen cow pastures in better shape than this place. Bunkers were absolute trash and unplayable. The goose droppings were unbearable and if you were close to a water feature, it smelled like hot garbage. The greens looked like they hadn’t been mowed in 4 days and the cups were so smashed it made putting a crap shoot to say the least. To top it off I was disgusted with my post round meal of a terr…

This place is a joke of a “course”. The greens are trash, and it seems like they aren’t even trying in the slightest to maintain the course… cart girl came around seemingly wasted, and offered shots to my group, so maybe that’s their plan, get the guests drunk so they can’t realize how bad the course is? Oh and did I mention it’s extremely overbooked? We couldn’t even get halfway through the course in the first 4 hours… we left at hole 7, tried to get a refund or at least partial and the staff had us sitting around waiting for almost an hour while they “waited in a call back from the superviso…

We have played the front nine at Woodcreek on several occasions, but yesterday we played the back nine for the very first time. It was the worst experience ever. The roughs are so unkept that you can’t hit your ball out of them. Not well maintained at all. The greens were nice. That’s it. There are absolutely no yardage markers or stakes to be found. We only saw one marker post on a blind curve, necessitating that we drive up on several of them to see where we were going and what we were facing. The map on the scorecard or signage didn’t help. There were no signs directing you to the next tee…

Interesting course with some quirky holes. Could use a little better course maintenance but they have a pretty good staff. The bar and grill rock on Sundays because the local non-golfers provide a lot of support.

Woodcreek is a great course in the west Roseville area. I especially enjoy it for the driving range that’s lighted in the evenings during the summer . Greens were good and well maintained from what I saw but I have heard complaints from others on the conditions being bad during certain times of the year.

Unfortunately, Woodcreek GC fairways and tee boxes are in horrific condition with dead grass and dirt present in all the fairways and tee boxes. The course has an exceptional lack watering and maintenance. The lakes have serious algae and seaweed problems with many having 100% coverage. The greens are in very good condition. Surprising since most courses in Sacramento are in great condition.

I’m not one to write reviews, but this course is in the worst conditions I have ever seen. The fact they charge 55$ after noon blows my mind. I’ve golfed here several times and it’s been one of my favorites in Roseville. This course needs a lot of attention! The weather hasn’t been bad enough for a course to look like this. Greens weren’t super bad but everything else was disappointing

Probably the worst conditions I have ever seen on a golf course. Not worth $70

I had such a great experience in Coach Bill’s beginner golf classes! As someone completely new to the sport, I felt welcomed, encouraged, and supported from day one. Coach Bill has a calm and patient teaching style that made it easy to understand the basics without feeling overwhelmed. He breaks things down in a way that’s fun and approachable, and I’ve already noticed improvements in my swing and confidence. I enjoyed it so much that I may retake a beginner class in the fall as a refresher. Highly recommend for any beginner looking to build a solid foundation!
