In summary

Cherry Island Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens, challenging layout, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for golfers in the Sacramento area. The course offers good value for money, with additional amenities like a driving range and a restaurant with commendable service. Love playing best value in the area by far. Interesting course and a good pro shop. The staff in the restaurant are awesome every single time. Janessa has the best attitude and always has something nice to say. She always remembers our orders and puts up with the idiots in our group. Keep up the great work.

What an awesome place, the staff is awesome and the course is always in good condition unless it was pouring rain but that's everywhere. The course is not too hard but definitely can be some challenges especially if you go out of bounds but even then I could still usually find my ball. Excellent scenery and great food, what a good local course.

This course is the worst ive been to in long time . We had other golfers yelling and use foul language and the Marshall did nothing about it . We had another group playing with very loud rap music you could hear 2 fairway over and the Marshall did nothing about it. They had a cook get fired or something so we couldn't get any food on the turn . Multiple hole signs were missing so you couldn't get any info on the hole and people had written false hole numbers on them . Tea boxes were horrible dirt Fairways were hard as clay And I could on. Like I said one of the WORST courses ive played ever.

The price for a round of golf and a cart is very reasonable. Generally speaking the greens and golf course are in good shape. However for an 18-hole course probably 90% of the golf ball cleaning Gizmo at the tees are inoperable, broken or no water in them. It wouldn't take much to go buy 18 of these things and take care of them everyday to function properly. The other sad deal is the garbage cans that are on each of the tees have no trash bags in them. Why? One of the simplest and easiest costs, a trash bag could be bought to keep the course clean and instead there's just trash and bottles and…

Review for soccer facilities: Good spot, pitch could be better but with the usage honestly not too bad. Permanent restrooms that are kept up considerably well with all the traffic. Parking on the street allows no entrance fees and a good chance to get some steps in. People are usually helpful when asked.

Cherry Island is a challenging, fun golf course. It is well-maintained, and the ground crew is very thoughtful of your presence while they continue to improve the facility. If you're a beginner, bring some extra golf balls because you will probably need them. Lots of hazards, but as you get to know the course, you'll enjoy it even more. This is where I first started golfing, and I have completed two rounds now with a single golf ball. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The burgers and fries are sure worth hanging out at the 19th hole before or after your round. Love this place ! I think…

I generally I like this course, as I have played it several times. However, it seems like there is a lot of neglect. There is a lack of trash bins that result in trash everywhere. Homeless tents and bedding along the valleys/creek. The majority of the hole signs are missing and either cheaply hand-written or scribbled on. Most of the tee boxes are just sand, and the cart path is in rough shape.

First time playing here. Great course for the price. Well kept and staff was very nice. Staff drove around the course with complimentary ice water which was very nice.
