What People Say

In summary

Mountain Springs Golf & Country Club is often praised for its beautiful, well-maintained course set in the scenic California foothills, offering a layout that appeals to golfers of all skill levels. The staff, including the golf pro and restaurant team, receive high marks for their friendliness and professionalism, and the on-site dining is frequently highlighted for its quality. However, some visitors have noted issues with course maintenance, such as poorly maintained tee boxes and greens, and occasional customer service challenges, particularly regarding pace of play and facility access.

This golf course belongs to the tribe that my spouse is a member of. They have done alot work to get it where it's at today. The greens are nice, it's clean and a very fun course. They are continuing to make improvements. The golf pro is amazing and really knows how to treat the people who come to play. He's very knowledgeable and not afraid to offer advice to improve your game, or to just wish you well. Definitely a great place to check out if your are in the Sonora Area.

Far and away one of the nicest, well kept and beautiful golf courses in all of the California foothills. My Son and I play here regularly and we absolutely love it. We love the hills and how it isn’t crowded out with houses. Lots of beautiful nature all around. A true gem for the Sonora area!

Paid $164 for two rounds with a Golf Now discount to play this cow pasture! Tees on every tee box had not been moved for at least a month. Nothing but divots and dirt to tee off on. Greens, we were told, had been aerated a month ago, but apparently not reseeded and watered enough. Still a bunch of aerated holes filled with sand. VERY bumpy and slow. Gave two stars instead of one because fairways at least had grass on them. Too bad because the layout is interesting, but poor conditions made for an unenjoyable round.

This is our second trip to the course and our first time dining at the bar and grill. Lunch was perfection, so delicious and beautifully presented. The ladies at restaurant were so friendly and welcoming. The greens were nicely kept. Will be back again!

Lots to say about Teleli Golf Club (public course). Everyone was pleasant, from the staff to other visitors, there's also plenty of parking and the restaurant/bar is perfect pre and post golf. Bathrooms - there are some on the course (but honestly they look like old concession stands) and there's one at the main club house area (near the parking lot). If it's early morning, entrance to the bathroom is on the left side of the building, as front doors might be locked). I figured since it's summer the course would be essentially brown throughout, but definitely not the case...the staff has done a…

The golf course is extremely well kept and the people there are really nice. They are part of Youth on Course so members of YOC can play for $5. The course is not too difficult so all skill levels can play and have a good round. The hilly terrain makes the course even more fun and forces golfers to play smarter.

The West Wind Bar & Grill is our go-to restaurant. We cannot say enough about it. The food is excellent. We have never had a bad meal here. The chef is top notch.. Our personal favorites are the Gold Country Flatbread and the roasted brussel sprouts for appetizers. Mary's Chicken is to die for. The chicken is always perfectly done, so moist. I typically ask for a little extra sauce because it is so lovely. My husband loves the Ribeye and the Angus burger, both cooked to perfection. The cocktails are so good. We have challenged them with a few cocktail orders and they have always stepped up to…

My husband took me to Teleli's for a Valentine's Dinner. Our server was Frances and she was adorable. She took great care of us and she was so sweet. Our bartender took good care of us when Frances got busy with other tables. Our table was set with rose petals and roses and was just so pretty, and the food was incredible. We had a beautiful view of the sun setting and it was the perfect evening. I have to apologize about not having a picture of our incredible desserts. I ate them too fast. Creme Brulee and New York Cheesecake...... can you blame me??? They were delicious!! I have the best hubb…
