In summary

Mountain Vista Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained courses, interesting layout with a mix of water hazards and bunkers, and generally enjoyable playing experience. Many golfers appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the scenic setting with wide fairways. However, some visitors have expressed dissatisfaction with communication issues regarding course conditions and tee time arrangements, as well as occasional management challenges related to replay rounds and course closures.

Santa Rosa course is in great shape. Layout is a mix of water holes and strategically placed bunkers. Overall, a fun, challenging track. Pro shop person was very welcoming and engaging in showing us around the facility since it was early in the morning dark when we arrived. Unfortunately, we as a foursome were placed behind two threesomes who were super quick. This was our first time playing here and we fell two holes behind with the wind picking up at hole 8. The marshal told us to catch up and we tried our best. When he rolled up on us around hole 14, we fell three holes behind. He then que…

Best course we played during our week stay in Palm Springs area!! Everything was perfect. Well maintained course with lots of interesting holes. We played with a great couple who were paired with us. This also made our round very enjoyable. Would highly recommend this course to anyone. Will be returning here next year!

Great condition overall. Well maintained fairway. Course is pretty flat. And a wide fairway. Just 6700yd from black tee box. There's more water Hazzard on back 9 Green condition is not perfect but rolling well. Really worth it. Recommended..

Course is in great shape and fun to play. Just watch out for the water hazards and be advised that the front has four par 3 holes and the back has only one par 3.

Beautiful wide fairways with well-placed lakes and bunkers. Two courses with 5 tee placements - Santa Rosa and San Gorgonio. Both are fun to play. Well maintained.

As soon as we let the pro shop know that we had made reservations for a replay, they started up with excuses about not being able to play the second round at their other golf course due to cart issues. At the moment we did not make a big deal about the situation as we wanted to have a good day and play well at their first course. As we finished our first round, they picked up our carts at our car and again the excuses started about a replay. We ended up finding out by asking the real reason they were having issues that this has been going on since December! We went to their other golf course a…

I played Oct 17 and 19 on Santa Rosa course. They’re shutting it down in 3 days. It was great. Pace of play was 3h 45 the first day and under 3 hours the second time. We ended up a twosome with no one in front of us. I liked the track. Greens were thin but fast and rolled true. Way better than tarra Lago north. The lies were thin around the green but getting ready to shut down. Overall a great track, good pace at least in the hot weather we’ve had, and I would be back. Note. There were no beverages to be had anywhere so bring your own. Although lots of water stations.

We've golfed the San Gorgonino course before and enjoyed it, except it has 4 par 3 holes on the front 9. Something must have happened to the greens as they were brown and sandy and didn't play true. Unfortunately, when I called to book the Santa Rosa course, I wasn't advised that it was only playing 9 holes.. may be 16 now. I thought I would have been told up front, not after I received my confirmation. The Pro Shop staff and Course Assistant were really great!

The greens are in great shape, but the rest of the course is underwhelming. This gets the course it’s 3 stars. Otherwise an it’s an urbanish course set down and surrounded by uninteresting homes, no nature other than the waterfowl, and distant Mountain View’s from time to time. To make matters worse they let us book and expect to play 18 holes and only informed us upon checking in that we would be missing out on 4 holes! Yep, skip 4 holes and not repeat any to make up! and to compensate, they gave us an whopping $8 bucks off each! It seems like a better deal than it is:( $196 for 2x to play th…
