Challenger at Palm Valley Country Club

While visiting Palm Desert, CA today I was excited to see my old favorite grocery store, Bristol Farms. After a quick stop I certainly wasn't disappointed. Their products continue to be displayed beautifully and selected intelligently. A great place to buy groceries and more.

We stayed at Palm Valley Country Club through an Airbnb. The grounds are gorgeous. You have access to golf courses, 46 pools and 16 tennis courts, but there is an additional fee for golf and tennis. There is a bit of road noise and the reservation system for tennis courts and golf is a little antiquated. You have to show up in person to pay. But overall we enjoyed our stay.

Awesome Staff! Diana in the gym and Rafael in the clubhouse bar are really efficient and friendly , helps out above their duties!

Very nice place to visit or to play tennis. The courts and locations is very nice and the weather was excellent when I went there.

One of the greenest golf courses in the desert. A fun place to stay too with great views. It is very well-kept.

Two beautiful golf courses, great food, great drinks and a nice clubhouse/restaurant. All in a private, quiet neighborhood. Weather is perfect in the winter months!

This isnt the best place to live if you have a dog. There are no sidewalks or dog parks and you cant walk on the golf course or youll piss off the HOA members so youre basically left to walk your dog in the street. Also, everyone speeds and blows through stop signs in here. Its out of control how fast people drive and the recent addition of large signs that tell us how fast were going when we all have speedometers in our cars that do the same is a waste of money. I played in a tournament here yesterday, and this course has to be in one of the best shapes in the valley. Gorgeous, green course and a challenging course for sure. Some long par 4's and several beautiful par 3's woth water. If you can get on the course here, take advantage of it! It's absolutely beautiful.

Relaxed, clean, organized and enjoyable. Diligent maintenance and smooth interactions with staff made my extended weekend stay as worry-free as could have been hoped for. Smiling faces and a pool on every corner; literally. Highly recommended place to stay if you manage to find a rental.
