In summary

Classic Club in Palm Desert is widely praised for its immaculate course conditions, challenging layout, and stunning desert oasis setting, making it a top choice for golfers. The staff is frequently described as friendly and helpful, and the amenities, including a well-maintained practice facility and luxurious clubhouse, add to the overall positive experience. While some mention wind as a potential issue and note occasional dry spots on the fairways, the course's beauty and quality are generally seen as outweighing these minor drawbacks.

Beautiful golf course. Excellent condition. Greens were quick and undulating. Worth it! Tip… beware of all the water. The course played a bit firmer than I expected and resulted in a lot of rollout towards water hazards.

As a wedding photographer I must say this place is just such a beautiful breath taking Venue I did a wedding gig here some time back and I gotta say this was one of the nicest I’ve done. The ballroom was great. The view of the golf course and everything just absolutely amazing. So serene perfect for great photography in the desert.

This place is an amazing golf course. It really is a desert oasis. It is right off Interstate 10 in palm springs. The greens are great. Gorgeous waterfalls and water. Big green trees. You know all those things us golfers need to hit around so we aren't saying choice words and trying to figure out where that elusive white ball went. I have had road runners almost come up to my hand to see what I have to share with them food wise. No I didnt see any tunnels painted on rocks or falling anvils. The only draw back to this place is it can get windy here as there is no mountains around it to protect…

Played course 22 Jan 2025. Course has some of the best amenities you can think of. Multiple practice areas with a full size range and complimentary range balls. The starter was amazing and even gifted me a ball marker and divot took for being a first time guest. This course is very challenging and can be intimidating from the tee box. A lot of water hazards that make you second guess yourself. The course conditions are pretty outstanding. Tee boxes cut well and level, most fairways green and cut well, bunkers well maintained, and greens are firm that roll true with a lot of break. The greens a…

Great course, great pace, fun layout. Finished in 4 hours. 8am tee time mid week. Greens a little slow but nice.

One of the most thoroughly enjoyable rounds of golf I’ve ever played. This is a CHALLENGING course with water on more than half of the holes, with many of the greens being very unforgiving on the approach (miss by 6 feet in either direction and you end up rolling down into water). Played on April 10th, whole course was in phenomenal condition and it was nice to have ice refill stations every 5-6 holes or so.

I loved this course. If you want to play a PGA course to see what it is like this a good one. Greens rolled true, fairways were impeccable.

Been playing here for 15 years. This was the roughest I have ever seen. Fairways in particular were very dried out. Greens were still in good shape but crispy.

Welcoming staff, incredible practice facility, luxury carts, excellent course conditions, challenging holes, pure greens, beautiful setting, worth the money. If you don't like this golf course, then there is something wrong with you.

Top tier, would recommend for sure. Played Stadium yesterday but would play this instead next time if we only had one day and it was more about the golf than the name. Great deal and great course.

Pros: - Immaculate condition from tee to green. - Practice facility is top notch. - Challenging layout which demand accurate approach shots. - Scenic holes. - Friendly staff. Cons: - The layout of the golf course presents some redundancy on several holes, such as dogleg rights with water hazards lining the right side and bunkers on the left. - Lack of halfway concession stand.
