What People Say

In summary

Mystic Creek Golf Club is frequently praised for its immaculate course conditions, challenging layout, and beautiful setting, often compared to renowned courses like Augusta. The staff is generally described as friendly and accommodating, and the amenities, including the clubhouse and restaurant, receive high marks. However, some visitors have experienced issues with management, such as unprofessional interactions and maintenance concerns, which detracted from their overall experience.

This course has been in fantastic condition every time I've played. The greens are super smooth and roll pretty quick. It can be a very challenging course to play but I still enjoy it. It has one of my favorite layouts of all the courses I've played

It appears that the current management of Mystic Creek no longer cares about golfers or the course. I have visited this course several times over the last few years and have always found it in excellent shape with friendly people. This trip that was not true. The course was not well manicured with areas of dead sod, bunkers holding water that haven't been cared for in quite some time, and all of that was after the day started with a check in process by a lady that acted like she was annoyed that we wanted to play golf on a golf course. Not what I expect from a Troon course with a price tag wel…

Course looked immaculate as usual. Stopped in for lunch and asked to hit a few balls and chip/putt. Didn’t have time to play a round. Was told no because “the owners” are particular about who uses their practice area. I Travel a lot for work and do this often at places with public tee times. Oh well - next time hopefully I have time to play!

First time playing, what a great public course. It was quite the challenge from 6200 yards. Greens were great, rolled true, and approach accuracy is a must-have. Bonus - the reply rate is only 50 bucks which is awesome so we played 36 holes.

Besides a gentlemen yelling at us from the putting green about our tee time, awesome time! We had the 810a (4-21-23), and apparently the gentleman was the 8a (threesome). The young lady running the proshop said we could go at 745 since we were a twosome. Paying 190 per person for a round of golf, you would think having a starter would be standard. Glad we got to experience Mystic Creek. Crowned greens and undulating fairways makes it a true test. Highly recommend, and thanks!

Amazing experience!! We planned to do golf vacation for 2 days with my husband and son. The course was amazingly well-maintained. But I have to say it’s a very hard course. All 18 holes are unique and beautiful. All staffs were very polite and helpful. The restaurant provided nice and reasonable price food. We will definitely go back again if we have time!

The only thing that could overshadow the friendliness of the entire staff is the Augusta-like course. I live near Pebble Beach and have played all the courses in the area and this course holds its own with the best of them. It’s stunning and worth the trip no matter where you live!

The course itself is absolutely beautiful and a great place to play. That said, I was extremely disappointed by what happened after my round. I accidentally left a very expensive speaker in my golf cart at the end of the day and called first thing the next morning, yet was told it was not found. While I understand it was my mistake leaving it behind, given the timing, it’s hard to believe it simply disappeared. To make matters worse, when I was on the phone with the pro shop and started asking if I could be contacted in the event it turned up, the staff member I spoke with (Holly) abruptly hun…

So worth the drive from Dallas. Just an amazing track with great service and friendly staff. The course is in magnificent shape and set in a beautiful forest. It is also a very hard course to play, but that makes it fun. Do not miss this gem.

El Dorado is home to one of the nicest golf courses in the state. As you make your way around the course you’ll find tall cathedral pines as you’d find at several courses around Augusta, high flashing bunkers styles similar to those on an A.W Tillinghast layout, and domed greens with runoffs similar to Pinehurst #2. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens grassed in Champion Bermuda are as beautiful to look at as they are fun to play on. Mystic Creek is not without its fair share of accolades: GolfWeek Magazine has put it at the top of its "Best You Can Play List," and was recognized as one of the 'B…

This is a beautiful and challenging course. Golfers put this course on your bucket list! The clubhouse is 5 star as well. A real jewel in this somewhat isolated area of South Central Arkansas.

Simply the best course you will play. Greens are exceptional but you better bring your A game if you want to score.
