In summary

Mystic Golf Club is widely appreciated for its challenging and well-maintained course, featuring fast greens and a scenic layout with significant elevation changes. Many players enjoy the unique design and find the staff to be attentive and courteous. However, some visitors have noted issues such as slow pace of play, limited clubhouse facilities, and the lack of a course map, which can be challenging for first-time players.

Overall, this course is fun, long, and definitely offers a good challenge. It’s a great test of skill and makes for an enjoyable round. A couple of areas could be improved: the curbs along the fairways make it harder to enter and exit, which slows down the pace of play. Also, the scorecard doesn’t have a map, so for first-time players it takes extra time to figure out where to hit—especially on holes with gullies that block the view of the pin. That said, once you get familiar with the layout, it’s a solid course worth playing.

There is no map so if you have never golfed here good luck, over priced in my opinion. Tee blocks are tree branches. They could do more to improve the experience, other then the some from Ohio

As a Golf Course on it's own, there's no denying Mystic is a solid course. Challenging Course so it's not for beginner golfers or those who are afraid to get hit with penalty strokes. The course is also in solid condition for the most part, though a few of the bunkers can have some additional sand in them. Having said that, there are some things I feel as a golf club, Mystic could sorely use. Off the top of my head. - As others are saying, if there is any one golf course I feel could use a clubhouse upgrade, it's Mystic. When I first played there a few years ago, I was ready for the course t…

Great course design and well maintained. Very challenging. Had alot of fun even though it was raining the whole time. Clubhouse was fairly simple but stocked well. Course uses bag drop as there is no access to parking lot with golf carts.

3 hrs to do front 9, no Marshalls ever, club house kinda a joke (hot food in staff office beside computer and papers?), told we could use our voucher when we called to book, then decline it when we showed up. Cart path only for so much of the course, with curbs everywhere. Super over priced for what you are getting compared to other places. Played the course 2 different weekends, first time was 6 hrs to play 18, second time left at hole 13, taking wayyyy to long couldn't finish. It's unfortunate since I usually like golf north courses, but I don't see the value or draw to ever come back to thi…

Mystic is in really great shape currently. Love to play this course as need to bring your A game. Pace of play was 4-1/2 hours which isn’t terrible. Steve was great as starter/Marshall and really helped everyone get started on time. Great day at Mystic Golf.

Seems like everyone here agrees that this course has a big issue.... and its the staff. Stubby needs to take it down a hundred... he only has one of the easiest jobs out there. Course is 4+ stars, tough but playable, long and in good shape. Lots of different looks out there. Definitely not boring. The par 6 is a killer but awesome. With Covid i'm sure the course is getting beat up with all the extra golfers out there but the maintenance guys are doing a good job. I'll definitely be back but maybe afternoon when all the grumpy guys are napping.

The place is amazing; the greens are fast, and the fairways are well maintained. The courses aren't easy, but they're challenging and fun. Players with a handicap below 15 will find it enjoyable. If you're a beginner, please refrain from going to avoid delaying playtime.

Really enjoyed the course, the layout is well designed. Hole#10 is my favourite, you may score -2 with a perfect first shot. Lots of elevation changes, drive carefully on the car path.

The course is lovely. Def will be coming back to replay. The back 9 gets a little clogged with waiting but not horrible. Recommend not walking as you will be tired from all the hills! Go give it a try!

Awesome golf course. But 20 handicappers will struggle to break 100, many long forced carry shots, but a spectacular rolling landscape of multiple elevations, fast but true greens, and great bunker conditions. Will be an annual treat in my rotation!
