Navesink Country Club

Very clean and well maintained facility. We played a hockey game on the outdoor rink and it was an awesome experience for the kids. The locker rooms were very large and nice and the atmosphere and views from the rink were incredible. Highly recommend playing on this rink if you get the opportunity.

I attended a luncheon this month with 175 guests. After reading wonderful reviews on this site, I expected a great meal. I was disappointed. The food I had was very good, although the vegetables (green beans and carrots) could have been cooked a little longer. They ran out of dinner rolls with more than a quarter of the guests not served. There were two serving lines. One ran out of salad shortly after running out of rolls. When pointed out to a server, we were told to get it from the other line. We had a board meeting here because one of the board members is a member of this club. The facilities were top class and the environment was peaceful and perfect for deep thoughtful work. We were able to sort out some critical problems. The staff were generally very helpful and arranged notepads, white board, markers, magnets etc. Food was not an option for a vegetarian like me because even the salad had seafood!

I attended a gala. The venue is beautiful, and the service was excellent. I can rave about their lobster bisque because it is one of the best I've ever tasted: rich and savory in flavor and delightfully creamy in consistency.

This is a beautiful country club on one of the most beautiful roads in America. They're dining rooms are impeccably decorated and the staff is plentiful. I was there for the Christmas tree lighting and it couldn't have been more festive right down to the Christmas caroling. It's a beautiful piece of property with valet parking

I recently attended a 75th anniversary celebration of the Monmouth Civic Chorus. It was a very pleasant gathering to say the least. While I myself have no affiliation with the chorus, my girlfriend and life-partner has been a member for over 20 years. I pretty much watched the whole evening through her eyes. She had a fabulous time seeing all her chorus friends and their significant others. There was the huge movie screen showing non-stop photos from many past concerts and events in a continuous loop.
