New York Country Club is praised for its well-maintained, challenging golf course with fast greens and scenic views, including a notable view of the Manhattan skyline. The staff is frequently highlighted for their friendliness and accommodating service, contributing to positive experiences for both golfers and event attendees. While the venue is commended for its beautiful setting and excellent amenities, some visitors have noted issues such as slow pace of play, inconsistent food quality, and occasional logistical mishaps.

Friendly staff, decent course, but food, needs improvement. The club offers great meeting spaces for conferences or events. The location is a bit rural, but there's easy on-site parking, which is a plus.

Excellent course that offers top notch service overall! A very devious course that plays really tough—tee to greens are brutal and the greens are another level on its own. A very challenging course that is worth the trek up from NYC. Overall service was great and club head pro, Mark was very welcoming and accommodating and very knowledgeable! Highly recommend this course. A bit pricey, but well worth the $$$, especially with complimentary driving range (irons only), and free parking.

My husband and I got married at the New York Country Club in July of 2021. We could not have been happier with our venue choice. We were originally supposed to get married July 2020, but due to the pandemic, had to postpone. Seth and Julie Ann were so accommodating, supportive, and helpful through the very sad, and hard process of having to postpone. When we finally got to celebrate our wedding day, it could not have been better. The venue was set up beautifully, the bridal suite to get ready in was perfect, the food was delicious! We were lucky enough to have a beautiful summer day, with our…

Interesting layout here, friendly staff, nice amenities. Looks like new ownership is going well. Moderately difficult course with some huge elevation changes, fast greens and skinny fairways. I'm going to take 1 star away for the cart paths, some were really in bad shape. If they can fix those, this would be a near perfect course.

I heard the management changed early this year, so I figured I'd come check it out. Food: This was actually my first time eating here, and everything I ordered was delicious. We had a kimchi burger, soy garlic chicken, and jeyuk (spicy stir-fried pork). Driving Range: The driving range has improved drastically and is now in great shape. It also offers a fantastic view. Course/Cart: The golf course/greens are in excellent condition, and I love that they've upgraded the carts with GPS & run so smoothly! Highly recommend!

The New York Country Club is truly an amazing venue! From our very first meeting with Julie Ann to our last, we knew we were in good hands 🙌 The service, food, staff and venue itself are beyond AMAZING. Our day was filled with lots of love & laughter and we couldn’t be more grateful to everyone here who helped make my wedding dreams a reality. Don’t hesitate and choose the NYCC if you’re looking for a top tier venue!

Very nice, well presented course. Greens were some of the fastest of any public course that I've experienced. Worth the drive and the price.

Great round a few weeks ago, they got me on for a twilight rate round, only the back 9 and pace of play was slow but it’s a nice course well kept

We played on April 15th, 2023 and we loved it. The 9th and 10th holes are where you wanna play well, but overall, it’s a good layout and fun! we enjoyed it a lot. After that, we had dinner at the clubhouse, but the foods are mostly too salty for us. Overall, the $80 weekend rate including the cart is worth it! Korean company owns this country club so they serve some Korean foods.

We had a reservation for an 11:50 tee time and departed from Bayside, New York at 9:50. We received a text message canceling our tour while crossing the Washington Bridge. The time was 10:36. Such a rude cancellation is unacceptable. We strongly protest to the golf course for ruining our day at such a crucial time. Your financial business is important, but our precious time is equally important.

Beautiful very well maintained 20 minutes from GW BRIDGE. Fairway side rough is thick so make sure ball goes on fairway. Fodd is excellent .I paid 70 dollars for 2pm tee off

I was there last week, I had a fantastic time at this golf course! The greens were in excellent condition, smooth, well maintained, and a pleasure to play on. The food was absolutely perfect, far exceeding my expectations. What made the experience even more special was the staff! They were polite, considerate, and genuinely kind in their interactions. I mentioned I was graduating from school, and they took the time to congratulate me, which meant a lot. It’s rare to find a place with such great service and attention to detail. I’ll definitely be coming back again!
