In summary

North Bellingham Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens and fairways, scenic layout, and friendly staff, making it a favorite among both locals and visitors. The course's links-style design and challenging conditions, especially when windy, add to its appeal, alongside amenities like a driving range and clean facilities. However, some golfers have noted issues with the pace of play and the condition of the greens, as well as occasional dissatisfaction with pricing compared to similar courses in the area.

I played a round with my friends for the first time at North Bellingham Golf Course. From the entrance, the wide-open view of the course was really impressive. The clubhouse is a good size and the facilities inside were clean and comfortable. What I liked the most was the driving range — it’s great that you can practice on real grass. However, it seemed that they don’t rotate the hitting areas very often, so there weren’t many good grassy spots left. Overall, the course difficulty was fair and enjoyable. I played from the white tees, and the tee boxes were in great condition and well maintai…

What a layout, very fun and challenging and definitely would come back again, but its in the states and im in canada. The range and putting greens are super firm and nice with very accessible facilities. Love the links-ish style combined with the windy and sunny weather

Beautifully laid out golf course. Tees and fairways were great but the greens were nightmare fuel. Not sure what happened here when many other courses in the Bellingham and Vancouver BC areas have managed to recover so well already and they don’t charge as much for the green fees either. Hoping to play again later in the year if the greens have improved.

Decent course with great conditions, just a little too pricy when you can play sudden valley for less. Pace of play is also very slow, expect a 5 hour round. Worth playing once or twice but not worth making regular trips here.

I've played this course a few times and it is challenging but very fun and when it's not windy it's just beautiful to be out there in those rolling hills and open plains. But today I'm giving them a review on their proceedings as a venue for the Bellingham Beer & Wine Festival! What a gorgeous setting and fantastic sounding set up! The drinks were great and the music was top notch. 10/10 Saturday at the North Bellingham Golf Course.

Pretty good shape for August despite the smoke. Greens were in great shape though...soft and fast. Never got into the clubhouse other than for washrooms which were okay. Range was decent and the course layout is good. I would and will return again. Thanks!

We were here for the Washington state junior state championship. Great course very windy when we were playing. Pretty wide open not too much trees. Couple holes where you have to shoot over gaps. Challenging for the kids. You can park an Rv in the parking lot if needed. Strange thing the range closes at 1 thanks for hosting the tournament

What a beautiful course, I cannot wait to come back here and play again. Shout-out to my fellow greenskeepers, you guys have the course dialed in.

From the old outlaw country playing in the restaurant to the well groomed course and friendly staff, we’d happily return. We had a couple of espresso martinis and Cesar salad before teetime that hit the spot. The washrooms along the course were all very clean and well maintained. We didn’t quite finish the full 18 due to the slow group in front of us, but had a blast none the less. The only thing missing was a mobile beer cart! #travelling_titleist

This course is in excellent shape. Super walkable, friendly staff, accommodating marshall, beautiful greens, etc. The wind here (~25mph) made me think twice, maybe even 3-4 times before planning shots. Not a particularly difficult course with calm wind I'd imagine, but still a beautiful location with stellar mountain views.

North Bellingham is by far my favorite course in Whatcom County. Very well maintained in winter and summer, great staff, drinks, tournaments and the best bang for your buck membership. Premium PNW golf!

I’ve been a member here for over 15 years and there are no better fairways in the Northwest than N. Bellinghams! Course overall is in fantastic shape! Nathan Vickers - the long time head pro is as good as there gets ! He has a great staff and the food there is excellent! If you’ve never played here give it a shot - you won’t be disappointed!
