Shuksan Golf Club is frequently praised for its scenic setting with stunning views of the North Cascades and Mt. Baker, as well as its challenging course layout featuring significant elevation changes. The staff is noted for being friendly and accommodating, and the club offers a range of amenities including a well-regarded restaurant and event facilities. I photographed a wedding at Shuksan Golf Club and the views alone make it worth considering. The North Cascades as a backdrop — Mt. Baker visible in the distance, rolling greens, open sky — it's the kind of setting that makes everything feel a little more elevated. As a photographer, you really can't go wrong with that much natural scenery to work with. A solid choice if you're looking for something in the Bellingham area with a relaxed, scenic feel.

Great conditions even with the recent rain. Fairways in excellent shape, tee boxes decent. Greens a bit slow but understandable with the recent rain, though they still rolled true and were in great condition. Staff welcoming and friendly, decent price and also has a range, putting green (not in good shape) and a short game area with a bunker. Carts in decent shape, fitted with coolers and club/ball washers. Quite windy which made it even more challenging, but also fun. (First time playing this course so not sure if that's normal for this location). A few fun elevated tee boxes and 4 or 5 hol…

Shuksan is one of my go to courses in the area! The new renovation of the club house, the awesome restaurant and the quality of the course are fantastic. Views EVERYWHERE, lots of elevated greens and tee boxes, friendly staff, quality course, natural setting. I walked it a few times and it lights the legs on fire but still fun. I would grab a cart. Highly recommend!

Great elevation change/course layout, friendly staff, excellent food and beverage, and lots of changes being made (for the better). Also a great location for events and weddings! The Sunday brunch menu is sure to impress. Check it out for yourself!

First time golfing here. Nice people. Good snacks. This time of year is wet, plan accordingly. Great views on a nice day. Lots of elevation changes.

First impression, outstanding, second impression, even more outstanding. It’s obviously a very popular destination for both locals & Canadians, plenty of BC plates in the parking lot. The Pro Shop is well equipped and the staff handling all of your golfing needs are professional and VERY experienced! I had club rentals and they were top of the line! The course is beautiful, undulating, varied, challenging and so well put together even the most inexperienced golfer such as myself can have an enjoyable time achieving the one or two over par per hole!!!! 😁 The snack lady on the course is extremel…

I have no joy in writing reviews like this, in fact, I rarely ever do. But I feel like I’m obligated to warn people who are considering golfing here right now. Don’t. Don’t play golf here. The greens, fairways, and tee boxes are, quite frankly, in utterly embarrassing condition. It’s almost like they stopped looking after them altogether. The alternative being the grounds crew bungled the aeration process and killed the greens in the process because there’s water in the greens and they’re soft/responsive where the grass is green, yet there’s massive dead patches of cracked hard pan on every s…

Always have fun at our annual trip to North Bellingham and Shuksan. It was a little burnt out in areas but a fun track. Most courses around here are partially burnt out when we have hit summers so can't complain. Except for Redmond Ridge. That course has been destroyed by OKI but I digress. This course is always fun and great views of the mountain. Some cool holes too.
