North Wood Golf Course

First time here and absolutely loved it. Course was in great shape. Folks in pro shop were friendly and accommodating. One of the most peaceful rounds of golf in my life, can’t wait to stop by again.

Just love sledding here. Great hillside and ski trails.

Beautiful golf course, used the practice range and golfed the front nine. Employees were super friendly and helpful, first time there, loved the course.

Very nice municipal course... dont be fooled by the shorter length... the course is extremely tight with some very tricky short holes that require precise execution from the tee. I played the whites, but still offered a good challenge with tight holes and some forced carry situations... the 17th is tricky and I suggest checking the card before you make your club selection... got lucky to stay short of the water left

This course was a lot more fun 20-25 years ago when the trees weren't overgrown around tee boxes and they weren't overcrowding fairways and greens. This course is significantly behind the times in its setup... Its like an old school short-hitters course. 20-25 yard fairways at best through most of the course and a ton of forced layups. Forget attempting to hit long bombs to score on this course unless you are absolutely striping it perfectly. Great golf course. Sign at pro shop says closed for the season on October 13th 2024. Not quite understanding why they would be closed for the most beautiful part of the fall season. With a pretty nice forecast going forward, rather disappointing not to be able to enjoy the beauty while golfing.?? November 2nd 2025 Once again, A year later, same results. I played here with a group of 5 for my bachelor party, and all of us had an excellent time. Such a beautiful course in great condition, and Keith made sure to take care of us. Very accommodating and delicious Brats as well. Will absolutely be back when given the chance.

For October the course is in pretty good shape. Better prices than a few years ago for sure.

Course was in pretty decent shape. Not better than most in the area, but still pretty decent. Service, not so much. Decent starter, but no beverage cart until noon, so when we got to the turn at 11:45, we were going to grab a bite and couple of drinks each. Walked into the bar, and got mean mugged by a group of people, who told us we could get a drink below. Went downstairs, and were told no mixed drinks or food because there was a meeting upstairs. Bev cart found us as teeing off on 18. Decent course, terrible experience.

Booked my round through GolfNow. Everything went smoothly. Course was in really nice shape when I played. Fairways aren't too tight but the greens are challenging. The elevation changes makes the course challenging but fun all at the same time. Played here twice and both times I enjoyed it. Definitely a busy place on the weekends!
