Northern Hills Golf Course

I played this course recently and liked it. Bermuda grass fairways and greens which are well-maintained. A few interesting holes that make good use of elevation changes, and then a fair number of more mundane holes. A great course for beginners and you can't beat the price ($5 for 9 holes walking). The only negative is that tees were not marked for 7 of the 9 holes and there are no score cards or course maps. I used a GPS app to find the approximate location of the tees but without that I would only be guessing.

This place is seriously disappointing. I paid $10 on the "honor" system they have and I couldn't even putt the greens were so bad. I couldn't tell where the tee boxes were. Very upset. Used to be a great course.

Great spot to visit the pond for a walk or some golf. I hope the renovations are coming soon.
