In summary

Oak Hills Golf Club receives praise for its affordability, well-maintained grounds, and friendly staff, offering a pleasant golfing experience with two courses that provide variety. However, some visitors express dissatisfaction with the course management, including issues with marshals, slow play, and overbooking. Additionally, the absence of a clubhouse and limited amenities are noted as areas for improvement.

Great value for the price. Lots of mature trees. Only complaint would be that the fairways could have been cut a bit shorter but other than that a nice challanging course.

This course is in a convenient location to me and the staff are friendly. I'm reading a lot of reviews about the course being well maintained and that simply isn't true. Fairways are like light rough with long grass and very little run. We only play the Highland course because the Glen's 18 holes are especially poor. Neither course has any bunkers. The greens are mostly way too small meaning that good shots are not rewarded. My latest experience was on a Friday; the first 11 holes went by very fast with only an hour and ten minutes needed to play them, but then we ran into a slow group. They w…

Oct 29, 2025, today had to be the most terrible round of golf I've ever experienced. My friends and I golfed here a month and half ago and had the same experience. We had hoped today would be different and that the last round was a one-off. The main issue today, as was the previous round, was a particular marshal. He's an older fella, some say he's the owner's dad. This person hounded us for the entire 18 holes. As it was the same as last time his main concern was if we were drinking beer that was not purchased on site...OMG! As if this never happens. We know the rules but if there isn't a car…

For the price you play you have to play this course. It is under new ownership/management now and it has cleaned up good. Like a bum cleaning up with a shave and a new suit for the ball. I had stopped going here for years as the course was just progressively worse and worse, but this is not the case anymore. They have done a great job and for the price you cannot go wrong. I believe it is now like $30-$32 pp with cart, and having the 2 courses is always great because you can go to the same place and it be a totally different experience. Plus if one course is busy, just play the other. Recomm…

Kudos to Oak Hills golf course and their amazing course!! Played in the Friends of Stirling Golf Tournament today and had a perfect day. Grounds were spotless, staff was amazing, and greens were perfect. If you want a different experience and a country feel, this is the spot to golf. 🥰

Nice course, good shape for the season we have had but experience was awful due to the martial. Was kicked off the course at the 12th hole for not following the rules as it’s 4 golfers to a hole where we did argue but to the fact as our 5th was a 9 year old who came along with his dad and hit a ball once a hole. Nobody behind is. Small town course with PGA rules and enforcement. Recommend Paying higher dollar green fees for the fun experience and people who appreciate your business.

Booked a tee time 1 week in advance for two people. Tee times are every 5 minutes. Show up on time and they won't allow us to golf unless we pair with another group. They over book and want the most amount of people on the course to make as much money as possible. It's not enjoyable. Would leave no stars if possible. The girl at check in was rude too.

Haven't played here in 30 years so decided to check it out. 36 holes. Both are under 6000 yards from the tips. Wide open fairways so good confidence builder. Course in good shape. Greens on the small side. Bit slow for my tastes. Fairways on 16/17 quite firm and it's only beginning of summer. Poor signage of where tees to next hole are, especially from holes 10 - 16. People playing the wrong greens all over the place.

Golfer 18 on the Glen. Teeniff at 3:42 and the clubhouse was closed...so that's a bummer. Greens are rolling about a 5 out of 10 for speed and consistent. Fairways are hard and there is no guessing what way your shots will bounce. Rough is nice and playable. Nice mixture of water, elevation changes and trees. Cart ran fine and we saw the beer cart twice during our round. Played all 18 without any delays from other groups.

The course ran smoothly from start to finish—everything was well-organized and in great shape. Big shoutout to the pro shop staff—super friendly, helpful, and made the experience even better. Can’t wait to come back!

Beautifully maintained course with true greens and lush fairways. The staff are welcoming, and the whole experience is top-notch. Highly recommend.
