Oakdale Country Club is highly regarded for its well-maintained 9-hole course, scenic mountain setting, and friendly, welcoming staff. Many visitors appreciate the course's layout, including its elevated tees and challenging greens, as well as the affordability and relaxed atmosphere. While the club generally receives positive feedback, some guests have noted the absence of a driving range and occasional wet conditions, with a rare mention of member-related issues affecting the experience.

Great 9 hole course. No driving range, which is really my only complaint. The practice green is small, but nice. Lots of elevated tees and greens complexes, make sure to remember the wind if it’s blowing. Greens can be very difficult depending on pin locations, not many bunkers but there are some deep ones that require a committed swing to get up and down. The 8th is a par 4, but a good swing can get on in 1 and give you a chance at eagle, just pay close attention to the wind unless you’re highly interested in searching the woods for your ball. I have mentioned wind twice, and for good measure…

Going to an out of town golf club where you don't know anybody can be an intimidating experience, especially when one is an inexperienced amateur. I've never been a regular golfer, but I have a young teenager who decided he was into it at the tender age of 5. Over the years, I tried, off and on, to facilitate his interest, not being sure how serious to take it, and it's not always convenient or affordable. This past week has been his first Maine vacation. He wasn't into swimming, hiking, or fishing, and was secluding himself in the camper all day working on his computer when I thought to offer…

Great little 9 hole course! Off the beaten path somewhat but worth going. Friendly staff, decent lunch list and not expensive to play. I'll play there again for sure.

If you’re not a member, don’t expect to be treated fairly. Some members are very rude, hit balls towards you, etc. Then the owner will side with the members and make you at fault. Maybe just a rare occasion, but that’s what I experienced.

Friendly public golf course in scenic mountain setting. Full bar with light fare. Small pro shop. Lockerooms in clubhouse. Cart rentals available. Excellent value for the golf dollar.

Nice 9 hole golf course tucked into the mountains in western Maine. Well maintained and quiet atmosphere. Usually fairly damp year round.

Very scenic, budget friendly course. In this early part of the season, still lots of maintenance to do, but experience with the course over decades tells me it will get done.

Staff and course were both good! Drink and food options were decent. Light fare, proper for a decent size course.
